I bought this so I wouldn't sleep with my mouth open, which causes my throat to dry out, and it works well for that purpose. BUT, it smells very badly of rubber, and the only night I wore it I awoke to a bad, rubbery taste in my mouth that lasted a few hours. Worse, my throat was dry from breathing through my nose! So . . . FAIL. Bottom line: It works as advertised, but I won't wear it again.

I have tried wearing this in various configurations. It only holds my mouth shut if set very tight, which is uncomfortable and causes pressure points. At any other “comfortable” setting, it actually pulls my jaw back, keeps my mouth slightly open, and makes it hard to breath while laying down. I could not sleep with this on, as it began to hurt over time from pressure points on my face. The smell of neoprene from the “wetsuit” like material is overwhelming and just as much of a reason why I could not continue wearing it through the night. It is an interesting idea that doesn’t execute well in reality.

The Strap needs to be wider on the head, it keeps falling off the back of my head and isn't secure.

Received head strap. Fast shipping, Fits well. Very minor poly smell. Did not come with nasal dilators or case as described in page. Will update with how well it works.

I have had another chin strap for over a year now and it works well to keep my mouth closed while I sleep. It prevents snoring and also waking up with a dry mouth.I bought this one hoping to have a spare to use while the first one is in the wash, but this one is really useless.The strap is too short to fit over my head unless I make it really tight. The ear-slots are not aligned correctly. The strap won't stay in place over my head.Do yourself a favor and find one that has dual head straps to hold it in place. Don't waste you money on this one.

Still snoring and very uncomfortable

Well this didn't work for me I found it on my four head in the morning and another time on the floor the next day. keeping it on in your sleep is tuff. its a person to person case.

So my x told me that I snore when I sleep, so I got this chin strap to help... When I got it I thought it would be more to it but its not... So when I put on it was uncomfortable but bearable I guess cause I have a fat face but it does fit, but make sure when u put it on that your ears go through the ear holes because when u put strap over head it will hurt if you dont... But he told me that it works he didnt hear me snore at all
