Knit’s Cool - Knitting Studio

Although I am not a knitter (I do crochet), I wanted to find a low impact (arthritic hands) to craft knitted projects.I am just getting the hang of using this, and I really like it!. . . . This comes with 3 different sized tubes, which will make a variety of projects in an equal variety of sizes......Who says that kids & teen can have all the fun of an item like this? LOLI have tried the Round loom type knitters & have issues with being able to move the stitches.-- With this one I can easily move them from peg to peg, and it gives my hands some low-impact exercise as well.Its theraputic and productive at the same time!

I got this for my kids (ages 8 and 10) to start getting down the basics of knitting after trying to learn using needles proved to be a bit difficult. Right away my 8 year old started making the headband and she finished within a couple hours. She loved that she was able to use it with ease and that the directions were very clear. It has storage for everything you need, which I love. The charms that come with it aren't much, but they are fine for something to start with. The only negative was that we almost ran out of yarn before the headband was finished, but if you use your own that shouldn't be an issue.

I gave this to my little g/d for Christmas.. She's 8 and learning to knit. She actually picked this out herself as we were going through here. I haven't asked her yet if she likes it. We opened right away. "Lol" She and her father were trying to figure it out. It was a funny moment. By the look on her face, she liked it..  Knit's Cool - Knitting Studio

I bought this for my 8-year-old daughter for Christmas. I used to knit when I was a kid, so I read the instructions once and then was able to start the headband project while showing my daughter what I was doing and how to do it. She caught on immediately and is having a LOT of fun with it. People who have not had prior knitting experience might find the instructions to be more difficult. The included yarn is pretty but there's not much of it, so you will need extra if your little knitter likes this kit. Overall I like this kit and would buy it again.

Daugher absolutely loved this. However, it was not easy to figure out at first, the instructions aren't that easy to understand. You Tube however solved the problem and then it was an amazingly easy craft for a 7 year old to do.

This is really cute. My 6 year old daughter loves it. I love that it gets her excited about learning a new skill!I highly recommend watching the YouTube tutorial though because the directions are a bit confusing. Also, buy extra yarn! This gives you to start you off with three little projects. The yarn provided is good quality and very cute colors.

It's very confusing at first, but after a while it gets easier. The only way I could figure it out is by watching the instructions video on knitscool.com. I have never knitted before, so this product is more for experienced people. This is one of my worst craft experiences ever! The instructions have barely any details, and don't make any sense. For example, when you are casting on, the instructions just tell you to tie the yarn to the post, but in the video, it says to make a special kind of knot and then to put it on the post.

2nd time ordering this knitting machine. We love to crochet around here and this makes knitting easy breezy. I've already done make a entire carseat cover within an hour or two. I really enjoy the easy of use with this product. Also its definitely beginner friendly for kids as well as adults.
