30 Inch 20mm Gold Style Thick Rope Hip Hop Chain Necklace

I was looking for one of these to use for costumes and such. I read the reviews and was put off by some of them claiming this is plastic and such, but bought it anyway. I'm glad to say that the one I received is not plastic, but some sort of lightweight metal. It is very shiny and does has some weight to it, but of course much lighter than if it was actually gold, lol

I wear this chain everywhere: to parties, around campus, and around Detroit. Everywhere I go people compliment it and want to know where they can get one too. The older and younger crowd love it and most people can't even recognize how cheaply it is made; a few people have even asked me if its made with real gold. This is most definitely a must have accessory to anyone looking to add a little flair to their image.

I recently purchased both this necklace, and ANOTHER big, heavy gold-tone necklace, because I wanted to make a really bold statement...by occasionally wearing that extreme, heavy, gold-tone piece that nobody would ever associate me with!I can't say that I dislike this rope chain necklace, but I CAN say that it DOES seem to be slightly cheaper than I thought that it would be. It is big, bold, and heavy, but I don't know exactly how durable it will be. It arrived in a long, plastic bag...APPEARANCE: This gold rope chain necklace is SHINY, so it's 100% likely to help you to be noticed in a crowd! The closure clasp features a Paisley design (On both the front, and the back), which looks classy and cute. The gold-tone metal feels smooth and luxurious.LENGTH/ SIZE/ WEIGHT: If you're a fairly petite woman, as I am, this necklace will fall to between the middle and the bottom of your bustline (It falls to the bottom of my bustline).If you're a guy, this necklace might be a bit shorter, and if you're a really big guy, you might be disappointed with the length of this necklace.The necklace DOES feel fairly heavy, though, which is okay by me.DURABILITY/ QUALITY: I am slightly disappointed with the quality of this necklace. The links are shiny, and, overall, the metal doesn't bear too many flaws, but there are a few sort of obvious (Ie: slightly blumpy, streaky, seam-type, etc.) flaws in between the ridges of the rope chain. The rings that connect the chain to the closure clasp seem to be slightly cheap, too; I can't answer for their longevity.I'm convinced that I may have paid too MUCH for this necklace. It's shiny, bold, and eye-catching, but I don't believe that it was well-enough made to justify its $30.00 cost.Even so, I think that I'm going to enjoy wearing the necklace, and that it will be one of the more extreme statement necklaces that I'll ever wear!

Brought this and had it overnights. I needed this to compete my 90's look for an event. Really disappointed. I know I didn't pay as much for the item but it looked and felt cheap. Don't waste your money.

Best bang for the buck. My buddy and I wore these to Vegas to an electro event and we got more compliments in one day than we have in our entire lives combined. Look real but don't weight a ridiculous amount as they are plastic. Will buy more when the gold finish wears off.

The Chain is very nice but IT ISN'T WORTH $30 LETS GET THAT CLEAR!!! $15 WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE CHAIN ALL FIVE STARS
