This cord protector looks nice and appears durable. However, even after laying the entire cord protector flat in the living room for nearly two weeks (to let it unwind) prior to installing the 3-foot section I needed, it still had a memory and wanted to curl up, so it wouldn't lay flat. Also, the stated cable capacity must have been determined using cables that are much thinner than average. There are two photos in the product description that show the protector with cables. The first photo shows what appear to be two power cables (one in each of the outside channels) along with one blue and one yellow ethernet cable in the center channel, with lots of additional space. The second photo is much more realistic, showing two yellow ethernet cables--one in each of the outside channels--with little additional space in those channels. If you only have a few thin cables and plan to tape the protector to the floor, this could be a good choice for you; however, it didn't work for me.

The product works well. The only problem is that it is packaged in a tight roll. This causes one end (the end at the center of the roll) to be deformed and it will not lay flat. I unrolled the whole thing and left it under cases of soda and water to flatten-out for two days. Mostly worked except for that one end. I even tried with a heat gun to get it to straighten out. It's now been on my porch in the warm Florida sun for a couple of weeks and still doesn't lay flat (even tried with more flat weights on it). I think I will just have to sacrifice and cut off the last eight inches from the end.

Out of the thousands of products we buy each year, this is the worst. Its made of cheap plastic, the way in which it is shipped forces a curl at the edges that you cannot take out. Its definitely not heavy duty as is claimed. We've used this probably over 3 weeks once a day then pack it away for the next day as we're mobile and need to provide power to other areas. Not worth the money at all. Save your time, buy something that is more durable than this,.

I needed it for an indoor use. Hiding a cord for an air hockey table. It does the trick just fine but it I wish it was heavier and didn't move so easily. It's also taller than necessary.

The only thing that I didn't care for was that I had to slice the backside channels for the extension cords to fit in. Would've been better if the channels were precut. Otherwise very good durable product. Highly recommend.

I needed an outside core protector so my gardeners would not ruin my new pool equipment. This was exactly what I needed. I slit the bottom and ran my cords through it and it worked great! Never budged or anything all season. Super happy with it!

Not bad. Laid out in the sun to allow it to relax; this helped a lot. Used it to route steel cable 12/2 within. Once the cable is in the protector, it kinda lifts up the sides causing a trip hazard. Hopefully it too will relax and droop. Does what it's supposed to, just wished it laid better.

I got the cable protector. It listed as two 6.5' pieces but came as one 13' foot piece which was not a problem. However, over 18" of one end was crushed to the point to being unusable. It was folded over and flattened and would not fit on the floor correctly. So I need help to figure out how to use or restore that section if possible.
