This stuff is great, its the only thing I have tried for joint pain relief. My cat, Frank is about 16 and is also diabetic, has been taking this medication for about six months now. We noticed his hip deterioration and his inability to jump up on the couch and wanted to get him something for it. I previously worked at a boarding clinic and heard of pets taking this product, so thats why I originally bought this product. I am glad I did, you can see a difference in him within a day or so of taking it. He is a pretty big cat, I would say 15-16 lbs, I started him one pill twice a day with his wet food and insulin. Now we are at anywhere from 2-4 pills a day. He gets around better and can makes it into the litter box. Its hard to find the Cosequin with Boswella at this price.

Happy Health Cats = Happy Home
My cats have been using Cosequin for the last three years, and I recently upgraded to the Cosequin with Boswellia after reading about the beneficial properties of boswellia// and after experiencing great results taking boswellia myself. My cats get cyctitis, and the addition of cosequin has seemed to help keep them out of the vet's office, thankfully. This product is used just like original Cosequin, just open the capsule and sprinkle on food, my cats didn't protest - in fact they didn't seem to notice any difference. We did notice a dramatic increase in activity level after using this product for approx. 2 weeks - my 10+ year old cats were scampering around the house like kittens. I'm happy with this product - if it keeps my cats healthy and makes them feel better it's a great choice.

MY KITTY CAN JUMP AGAIN!
My 15 yr. old kitty has arthritis and painful joints and legs. This seems to have really helped him. After a month or two, he has been able to jump back up into his favorite chair, which is great. He had been completely on the floor only since his legs got bad and it's a blessing for him to be more able bodied again. I was beginning to think there wasn't much we could do to help him and the Cosequin has given him back a more comfortable life. Oh, he doesn't mind the taste at all either. I simply open a capsule into his canned food and stir it up. No problems. The taste isn't offensive to them.

Would recommend!
After a couple weeks of sprinkling this over dry food mixed with a bit of water, my poor little aging kitty is moving around like she's 8 years younger. Before I adopted her, her elbow had been fused after she got stuck in a car engine and the previous owners couldn't afford the expensive surgery to fix. So she's limped as long as I've had her, but lately she seemed to be having a lot of trouble getting around. She's also been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, so until we got that regulated she was looking pretty rough. The thyroid is under control, but the limping and sluggishness wasn't much improved until we started using cosequin. She seems SO much happier now, more agile, playful, and back to being herself.

Good Product!
This was recommended by my Vet for my senior Forest Cat who has arthritis. It took a couple of days but I saw a noticeable difference. Before she would walk slowly and limp every now and then. After this kicked in she was back to scooting around like normal and with no limp. I give her one cap in the morning and one cap at night mixed in with her soft food. She has never given me any indication that it was a problem for her. She eats all her food along with the mixed in powder, no problem. I was very happy to see her back to normal with no limp. I DO recommend this supplement!

I give this to my two cats twice a day ...
I give this to my two cats twice a day and I think that it helps them since they are getting older. I currently have one cat that has blown out his ACL and the chance of it happening to the other knee is very likely. So if I can help with his joints with this pill, I will. I am being proactive with my other cat, in hopes that he stays as active as he is now.

pretty sedentary. Decided to give this a try
I have been waiting some time to write a review to see if i noticed any changes. I have an overweight cat, pretty sedentary. Decided to give this a try, and I have noticed some changes in her, She has become a little more active, jumping again, and has even started jumping from the floor to the bed, where before she would go to the ottoman and then to the bed. I have 2 cats and they're both very picky with food and don't seem to mind having this sprinkled on their food.

The only brand my vet suggested.
Recommended by my vet because it is the only proven brand to do what it says it does. I REALLY wish it came in a liquid form. Right now, I break open the capsules, dissolve the powder in water and suck it into a syringe. Tedious, but necessary, as I have found it impossible to put 2 pills down my kitty. The capsules are a bit sticky, which doesn't help when inserting into his mouth. It has a 'soother' additive, which I haven't decided is effective or not.
