I've been interested in growing some food for awhile, but I live outside of New York where it's hard to own a garden. The convenience of this item was particularly useful! It comes in its own pot with a brick of dried soil and tomato seeds ready to go. It doesn't get much more convenient than that.I was also worried that with something so convenient, a plant wouldn't actually grow - but it has! The tomato won't be ready for some time, but I'm excited to see the final result.I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to give gardening a test run. It's a great little kit.

This took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it seemed pricey for the product, but I really wanted to grow indoor tomatoes. It contained 5 seeds, which seemed like a very low amount, but 4 germinated and sprouted, so I didn't mind. But I noticed that after the sprouts grew a few inches, they seemed to stop growing, and then the leaves started yellowing and dying off. I thought maybe I was overwatering, and looked online, but didn't seem to be. Then today I lifted the pot from the saucer and there were tiny white insects. Upon further examination, they were eating the roots and that was what killed the plants. Insult to injury, my return window ended YESTERDAY, so I spent too much money on an infestation. I'm very upset and disappointed.

Can't wait to enjoy my tomatoes! Product arrived exactly as promised and the packaging was awesome. I had a Amaryllis bulb kit from this same company and loved it so much I purchased one for each member in our family for Christmas.

I ordered this kit as a fun project for my grandson. The price was a lot higher than if I went to the hardware store and bought a whole tray of tomato seedlings. But I thought it would be an educational project. We received the tomato growing kit on March 30, 2020. Everything was included in the kit, and we followed the instructions carefully. We placed the pot in a West facing window and waited. After several weeks the tomato plant was barely 1" tall and had a couple of leaves. The weather was by then warm and sunny, so we moved the pot outdoors. It is now August 30, 2020. The tomato plant is now barely 4" tall, has more leaves, but not a blossom or tomato in sight. Meanwhile, the tomato seedlings I bought at the hardware store are now producing a bumper crop.. I would say that this is a total rip off, and a big waste of money.

I ordered this for my wife who loves cooking and wanted to see if we could get something for our apartment that we can grow in a small space. After much research, we found this Grow Kit and were pleasantly surprised to see how compact it is. Once ordered, the package arrived promptly and the packaging was very attractive as you can see in the picture. My wife kept it on our table for a day or two just to admire the packaging. We just opened it up few days ago to start growing!! we are excited for our tomatoes!

What is growing mix? I didn’t get anything like that I got a pot and dirt. I ordered two of these and I have another one coming. I think I’ll just send it back without opening. Of course this one is coming back too!

Very dissatisfied. Followed the instructions and I have nothing. I was hoping for a nice tomato plant. Poor packaging and less then quality. Not happy

I love that these tomatoes can be grown indoors. Easy to understand instructions, arrived fast. The packaging says mid-February until June are the best times to start growing them. That’s NOW, yay!
