Shrunken Heads

As a big Full Moon fan (own more than 2 dozen of their movies on BR & 10 on DVD), I found this one to be a creepy (in a "dirty old man" type of way), heavy-handed and uninteresting slog. There's a good reason ppl haven't heard of Danny Elfman's older (and far, far less talented imo) brother, who is the director responsible for this wreck. Aside from the awful score by Richard Band (sadly it sounded like his attempt to be "Elfman-esque") this poorly directed movie (and not even in a "good-bad" way) isn't one I would ever watch again or even recommend to someone whom I disliked.

Never saw this one before, at least not completely.The late Julius Harris gives a charming performance as a "retired" voodoo priest in helping the fatal victims of Big Mo's crime gang (Meg Foster, completely unrecognizable as a dyke crime boss). No nudity but there is a tiny bit of breast when the girlfriend of one of the dead heads lets him snuggle under her blouse for a little while - in a purely adolescent fashion.Worth it for your Full Moon collection.

It feels like an R rated goosebumps episode where the shrunken heads of murdered children are commanded by a voodoo wiseman type figure and used to take revenge against a mafia of itialian children. This is one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen and I think this movie deserves a cult following.

Classic boy meets girl, boy gets killed, boy becomes shrunken head with super powers, boy flies down girls shirt and nuzzles her breasts.

I liked the whole movie. It was great.

I saw part of this movie on tv way back when. I was telling a friend about it and searched on Amazon, and there it was!! OMG, this is one of the most hilarious "scary" movies I have ever seen. I don't want to give the plot away, but three shrunken. teenagers' heads as vigilantes... just want it. It's hilarioius!

I’m really happy with my dvd! A really good film! Myself and my fiancée really enjoyed watching this film! It’s really amusing in certain parts of the film! I would most definitely recommend this dvd to any adult! X

Alleine die Idee ist so unglaublich dämlich, dass sie einfach nur Spaß macht. In der Gruppe, mit ein bisschen Bier und Knabberkram ist der Film ein Garant für einen Abend voller "Häh?!" "Was zur Hölle?" "Oh mein Gott!" und einem beständigen Kichern und Lachen.Dazu kommt, dass der Film sich selber nicht ernst nimmt und so manche Szene mit einem Augenzwinkern versehen ist.Interessanter Fakt: Der Regisseur ist der ältere Bruder des Filmmusikgenies Danny Elfman.

Der Film ist genial.Leicht CUT (4 Sekunden) und das Wiedergabebild könnte etwas besser sein.Im Großen und Ganzen jedoch hervorragend.Ein sehr ungewöhnlicher, lustiger und cooler Film.
