Bought one for me and one for my grandfather. Had an opportunity to hit the local lake this past weekend. Found our fair share of bottle caps, hooks, and fishing lures. Managed to pull up a chair on one of my final casts. Very happy with the purchase.Box was in good condition and everything inside was packaged/secured. Gloves are thin and give your skin plenty of room to breathe. Good grip. All you really need to do is apply your threadlock before being ready to start casting.This would make a great gift and is an excellent starter kit. Give it a shot.

Prompt delivery. Items are just as shown. I waited until 1st use to review. Let me tell you, this is so much fun! I hit the kayak launch in my neighborhood & pulled up a 6’ piece of rebar like it was nothing! Quality product so far. I will edit in time if necessary, but after 1 “fishing” trip, this product is worth it.

My husband likes it a lot! He was very adamant that the extra grapple hook piece was great to have to assist the magnet when pulling things from deep water! He had a good time fishing for lost treasure in a small lake near us! He even has a new crawdad cage that he pulled up nearly intact! he cant wait to use it again! It got here super fast also! tried once di f nt find nothing. Di d nt use hook hook yet but don't have another rope. Be nice if it came with two ropes

Good product, it does make fishing more interesting. 500lbs isn't as much as you might think. The resistance of the water can pull objects off fairly easily and any area with a current is a no go zone.

I took the magnet to my local lake and tried it out. I like the way it handles in the water. I did notice when I unpacked it, the rope had several places where the inner cord was pulled from the center. I suppose those areas my pull back in after some use.

The magnet fishing kit is a good value for the money. The magnet and eye for the caribeaner are very good quality. The rope is durable and comes with the caribeaner already attached. The grappling hook that comes with the kit is very sturdy. It took a matter of minutes after opening to have it ready to use.
