SPANX Firm Control Leggings

I am returning these. The positive is they felt super soft on. While they suggested to hold you in, I did not get that sense, WHICH could be good as they are more comfortable to wear when there is less compression to them its just not what I expected. As other reviews have said they are see through. I could see my skin through them, not because they were too tight or I got a size too small they are just a little thin. There were also a few little spots which I could see already prepped to become micro tears as mentioned by other reviews. I bought the jcrew pixie pant around the same time as these, and those are much more along the lines of what I was looking for.

I am not satisfied with these leggings because they are too see-through and do not provide enough tummy support. It is false advertising to describe or label these leggings as "firm control" because both the material and the stomach support are not strong. If someone is looking to buy spring / summer leggings to wear casually, then I would recommend this item. I, personally, will not purchase it ever again for any occasion.

The legging is comfortable and beautiful, but I was expecting something more "shaper", with a strong fit to model the body. Maybe if I bought a small one I could have this feeling. I bought a Medium size, like the size chart was saying I should do. It's transparent, too, you can't use it without something to cover your hips.

Love this product. After years at an employer we were no longer allowed to show our tattoos. Due to the location I always had to wear dress pants until I found this product. I love them. They are perfect to cover my tattoos without being bulky. I wear them under dresses or long shirts and it has made my wardrobe work wearable again. Love the smoothness I get too without a pantyhose. Wonderful Product. I do wish there was a nude or tan option.

They're comfortable, and I appreciate the tummy flattening, but they're see-through, even when you're not bending over. You can't use them outside in public unless you're wearing something to cover your butt.

What I like: they are long enough for me at 5'10", probably mainly because they are extremely stretchy. They are lightweight, which I was specifically looking for, and they make a perfect base layer. Waist is a little too high for my taste - not all the way to the ribs like some shapewear, but above waist. Issues: mine are opaque enough for casual wear with a long top, but are a little too thin = slightly see-through at the top (legs are fine). Also, they pick up lint very easily, and are hard to de-lint. If you're looking for control wear, I don't think these offer much. On balance, I was happy to find these to wear around the house with a big shirt, for the odd errand, and as a base layer for cold weather because they are uncomplicated, very comfortable, not hot, and long enough. But they are more limited than a full-strength legging, and I wouldn't wear them for an exercise class.

These are my FAVORITE leggings, I have about 5 pairs of them. They shape your legs and butt. The tummy panel flattens your tummy and is so slimming. I dress them up for work or dress down for a casual look as well. They are not see through for me but I think that's because I order a size up. I am a size 12 in jeans but I have these in a 1X, they fit better for me than the XL. You can get these at Target in black or gray and they are $28. I wish they would come out in a maroon color!! I seriously love them!

These are incredible. I buy mine one size larger than I am, so they aren't "shaping" and also don't end up being see-through. The elasticity of them is amazing. They look great under long tunics or dresses. Because I buy mine a little bigger, they come up to my ribs which I really like because they don't roll AT ALL. The biggest bonus for me is that they are a material that doesn't make clothes cling. They look great and I bought them in three colors (gray, heather gray, black). I live in these in the winter!
