Voluntary Purchasing Group 32155 Copperas Soil Amendment, 4 lb

I've purchased this 4 lb. bag of Copperas numerous times and I have never been dissappointed with the results. I've never used it for its intended purpose though. The powder is a light greenish color and has the consistency of coarse dry sand. I always use rubber gloves and a respirator just as a precautionary measure when handling the dry powder indoors, but I don't believe those measures are entirely necessary,I feel a lot better about handling it once its been mixed in with tap water at about a 1:25 ratio (copperas to water). Then its perfectly safe to handle without any safety equipment (imo) and in doing so I haven't yet experienced any negative side effects (i.e. itching, burning, dry skin, etc). One downside though, is once mixed into a liquid solution, it can and will stain any porous material it touches like skin, clothes, concrete, and wood.All in all discovering this stuff saves me about $70 a month due to its 'unadvertised capabilities'. It outperforms the products I used to use and costs about 2800% less. Thats not a typo either, its actually that big of a difference. Amazing what a little research can do.

Product was as described. Easy to handle and trees greened up nicely this spring. Before using this iron product, tree leaves were very yellow to almost white. Wish this product was available in a larger size. Shipping costs really add up when you order multiples of the 4 pound size.

I love this product. I believe they have changed the name to iron sulfate. I use it toDye my sidewalks and driveway. Easy and inexpensive way to stain driveway if your house looks good with the orange tinted driveway.

This product definitely works. It save several of the plants in my home orchard. It does exactly what it claims to do you just have to be sure to follow the instructions carefully.

The product was not clumpimg yet,but the package was all peeled off. We kept it ,but disappointed.

As soon as this was received, it was put on the blueberry bushes. Within a day or two the leaves were back to green. I will be orderingthis again soon.

Perfect for 'aging' my concrete garden statues. Gives them a subtle aged look. Just mix a small portion with water and brush onto the concrete statue in areas you choose. Love it!
