Absolutely indispensable! If you own a P38 Range Rover, you can easily rack up the bills, getting every single job (and there are a lot!) done professionally by a dealer!This Range Rover is a very complicated vehicle, which cost around £50,000 in the year 2000, so servicing & repair costs are high and don't depreciate like the car, unfortunately.I bought this book and it paid for itself within a week! It covers pretty well everything you'll encounter and will give you the servicing requirements too. A good P38, properly serviced will be so much more reliable - so go on, just buy this and start saving money!

Owning a P38 Range Rover is a joy but can be expensive.This book is quite exceptional and in my opinion is a must have for any P38 owner.I am probably the least mechanically minded man on the planet but even I found it incredibly easy to understand .It has saved me a fortune.Take the initial hit and it will be a book that you will never regret buying.

Short of supreme praise but an excellent tome to have if you have a P38 range Rover and intend to work on it yourself. However; a good working knowledge of car mechanics is essential to work from this manual. Some numbered diagrams do not have a supporting text and some pages are in the wrong order but in the main, a good guide and reference base to have. Price is a bit steep but, where else are you going to get one? R.G.
