3 weeks in and I LOVE this product
3 weeks in and I LOVE this product!! My skin is noticeably brighter, dark circles and blemishes fading away more and more everyday. I can't stress enough how much everyone should try this. It is a serum and easily applied under your regular moisturizer etc. You will not regret this, and for the price, you just can't go wrong.

No difference.
I don't really see a difference using this and I've been using it for a while. The dispenser will spray the product everywhere, it doesn't come out clean. It also doesn't smell very pleasant, it also leaves a tight, tacky feeling on your face. That wouldn't bother me if I actually saw results with the product.

Niche Skincare vitamin C serum – stable vitamin C and witch hazel, good for antiaging, ingredients list and analysis in review
Summary: vitamin C serum, with vitamin C in the more stable form of sodium ascorbyl phosphate. In a concentration (20%) that has been clinically proven in independent research to brighten skin, alleviate the appearance of age spots, and even skin tone with repeated use over time. Formulation also includes high concentration of witch hazel extract, which in addition to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties also has astringent properties; some may be able to combine two steps into one with this serum by skipping toner. 3 stars because of lack of vitamin E and ferulic and tacky, sticky after-application.A good vitamin C serum is a staple in my routine – it is something that I use every day and never go without. This is because it is good for photoaging (as an antioxidant it scavenges free radicals), brightens and evens the skin (by suppressing pigmentation of the skin and decomposing melanin), and also increases skin firmness (by triggering collagen production). I have to say that I am guilty of caving in to recommendations from friends and spending a lot of money (>$100) on Skinceuticals CE ferulic before I wised up and started looking for alternatives. I don’t bother purchasing a vitamin C serum unless the vitamin C is at least 15% in a formulation (like this one), because the concentration at 15% is clinically proven in independent research to brighten skin, alleviate the appearance of age spots, and even skin tone with repeated use over time.I should note that I have never met a product that has had instantaneous (e.g. within 1-2 days) but lasting results for me, nor would I expect a topical product to have such results. This is because with topical cosmetic applications, as a long-lasting result means that skin remodeling has occurred, because the skin’s natural turnover cycle is about 2-3 months for an adult, outside of a surgical procedure or dermatological injectable (e.g. something that involves abruptly changing the skin’s structure/form or adding something to its biology/composition), instant permanent results without a procedure or surgery would be impossible because of the limits of biology. I can say, however, that I have been consistently using a vitamin C serum and sunscreen for several years now, and I am regularly mistaken for a decade younger than my age; I think my genes may be helping, but so is a vitamin C serum.Ingredients: Deionized Water, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Witch Hazel Extract, Glycerin, Carbomer, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe), L-Arginine, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid). The bottle states that the vitamin C is in a 20% concentration. I have also included a photo of the ingredients list.I would recommend using this vitamin C serum first thing in the morning after cleansing to allow for maximum absorption. As the vitamin C is formulated using sodium ascorbyl phosphate (in comparison to L-ascorbic acid), I don’t find it necessary to use it with a skin pH-adjusting toner. When considering the different forms of vitamin C, the stabilized forms of vitamin C (e.g. sodium ascorbyl phosphate, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate) are less well-studied than l-ascorbic acid. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is photoprotective (however less so than l-ascorbic acid) while there is limited data on the photoprotective capabilities of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, however sodium ascorbyl phosphate also does not stimulate as much collagen production as magnesium ascorbly phosphate does (see Geesin’s et al article “Regulation of collagen synthesis in human dermal fibroblasts by the sodium and magnesium salts of ascorbyl-2-phosphate”, in Skin Pharmacology, 1993), so depending on your needs, you may prefer one form of stable vitamin C over another. This formulation seems to have a high concentration of witch hazel extract, which in addition to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, also has astringent properties; some may find it possible to skip their morning usage of toner with this step alone due to the witch hazel in this serum. There is no vitamin E or ferulic acid in this formulation for synergy in preventing photoaging, however the sodium ascorbyl phosphate form of vitamin C is significantly more stable than L-ascorbic acid. The serum also includes aloe for calming skin, a peptide component in the form of l-arginine, and sodium hyaluronate (great for helping maintain skin hydration), although it seems these three beneficial ingredients are the last 3 ingredients in the list and therefore likely present in small concentrations only. The serum comes in a vacuum-sealed pump bottle, which saved me the trouble of decanting into my own containers to stop degradation. It is clear golden yellow color, and has a mild citrus-herbal smell. It did not break out or flare my dehydrated, acneic, sensitive, eczematous skin. It does initially have a mildly hydrating quality, although as a serum is not meant to replace your moisturizer, so I always follow with a moisturizer and sunscreen. The application is slightly thicker and less runny in comparison to some other serums; while it does absorb into the skin within minutes, it leaves behind a tacky, sticky texture and slight sheen. I am not a fan of the sticky texture remaining after initial absorption, so I wipe off the remaining residue with a washcloth and water. In summary, I would say that the serum contains a stable vitamin C (in the form of sodium ascorbyl phosphate) at an effective concentration (20%). It does also have witch hazel for anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. At time of review, the serum is on sale for $20 for 1 ounce; because I do wish that the formulation included vitamin E and ferulic (and there are formulations similarly priced that do contain these) and I did not like the tacky texture left behind after initial absorption, I would rate it 3 stars.Disclosure: I purchased this item at a promotional price in exchange for a sharing my fair and honest feedback, so in order to be fair I've reviewed it with the actual price in mind and a five-star review is not guaranteed. All thoughts are mine and unbiased and when I review items, I apply the “would I buy this for my grandmother rule” (I’m not sure that this would surpass the vitamin C serum that she already uses). I work hard to write useful/thoughtful reviews, so if you find this review helpful, I would appreciate the feedback letting me know so, or if you have questions/comments, I will try my best to answer as well.
