This is a well-made night light. I use it in the bathroom and leave the door open so it casts enough light to be a guide. Works great and the incandescent light bulb will be easy and inexpensive to replace. It doesn't get hot, like some night lights can, and it has a sturdy on-off switch. It blends right in and isn't noticeable at all. I especially like that it is made by a name brand company like GE, which has always been reliable for us. The price was right, too. I highly recommend it.

Used this a lot with our newborn in making sure she transitioned well from daytime to nighttime sleep. Bright enough so I could nurse and check on her during the night and yet still maintain enough darkness in the room to avoid day and night confusion. I love the ability to turn this off while keeping it plugged in. The cover also hides the bulb well so that only a gentle light is reflected, and it has stayed in place despite a lot of rough handling from a sleep deprived and busy mom with her hands full! As my baby is older now (I've had this light for over 9 months) I use it in the bathroom as the main light when I need to get up in the middle of the night but don't want to be blinded and bothered with regular lighting. I love this light!

I like the cover on this night light, as it really dims the bulb to a comfortable level. That's the best feature, in my opinion. If you're looking for something that can illuminate a large space, this probably won't be it. It will perhaps be a good choice if you want to illuminate a small room well enough to find your way around. I'm glad this one doesn't have a sensor, because I have mine in a space that's partially blocked by a cabinet and it would be really inconvenient if it stayed on when I didn't want it to. It''s such a relief to find incandescent lights nowadays, because I absolutely detest LED bulbs. Apart from the fact that they tend to be a little dim, don't you think it's unpleasant to have that cold, silver lighting in the house? There's enough of that in the office already!

Works exactly as it should. The switch to turn on/off feels well made and is easy to use. I wanted a non-LED night light for a nursery, and this was the best I found. Would have preferred auto light-sensing activation, but this puts out an appropriate amount of light. Used with these ligths: GE Lighting 20572 4-Watt Night Light, Clear C7 4CD, 4-Pack, which work perfectly.

I was looking for an incandescent nightlight that is durable and nice looking- this fit the bill! Several months later I am still very happy with these lights. You can even find replacement bulbs in 6 packs at the dollar store, although I still have not yet had to change a bulb months later! Puts out a decent amount of light so you can see what you’re doing but is not too bright. Has a warm, soft glow that won’t disturb your circadian rhythm.

The cover falls off very easily. The light is very bright. I would not want it on in a bedroom. I left it on near my cat's litter box so she'd be able to find it at night (even though cats have very good night vision - I didn't want any accidents)... I was surprised how bright 4 watts can be. I guess it's a good price, and it's nice that you can switch it on and off... I like my old school Indiglo night lights for the bathroom - these would be too bright for that.

I was reluctant to buy this night light at first because I was afraid it would cast a bright white light. Instead the shade creates a warm ivory glow. The night light has an on/off switch on the front and the shade rotates and snaps off. It comes with a clear 4 watt bulb.This light is somewhat bright. I have one in my bathroom so I don't get blinded in the middle of the night by the regular light and it is enough to see by in a small room. We also have one in our daughter's room and it's not too bright to keep her awake but gives us enough light to pat her back to sleep if she wakes up. I ended up buying three of this night light because I find new rooms to put them in each time they arrive!

Cheap, bright, convenient, and works well. My kids liked to have the hallway light on as they fell asleep but now I just use one of these. It saves me the time and money because this night light is much easier to maintain than the three hallway light bulbs in my tall ceilings. We turn it on after we've done our bedtime routine and turn it off when we do our morning routine.
