not a bad option, but there is better hardware available.
this is "light" version of hardware that you can buy in some other stores (big orange). spacing between holes is smaller, metal thinner.Looks like stainless steel.will be ok for smaller docks or walkways.

High quality hardware
This was high quality and necessary, as he floating dock kits sold here also do not have hardware for decking joists - they only cover the outer frame. The steel really is 1/4 in thick and is heavily galvanized.
