KEEPER: A Second Chance Standalone Romance (Broody Bad Boys - Silo Springs Standalones)

Harloe Rae has done it yet again! She has written a story that tugs at your heart strings and makes you feel all of the feels. ALL OF THE FEELS! I had chills and I mean full body chills when I read the ending of this amazing story. It was absolutely perfect. I simply adored Keeper. Honestly, this is my favorite story by Harloe Rae to date. I just wanted to keep reading more about Delaney and Decker. These two made my heart so full of giddiness and happiness. I also love the small town of Silo Springs. I’m pretty sure small town romances are my jam now.Oh, Delaney. I adore her character. I could not imagine waking up one day and not remembering a single thing about my past. She is so strong in dealing with all of that turmoil and chaos. She took things one day at a time and tried to make the best out of a really crummy situation. I admire her strength and courage. She didn’t have a family to rely on. She really only had herself, her social worker, and the friends she made along the way. Oh, and Decker and let me tell you, she definitely had Decker. Delaney had the chance to reinvent herself and be whoever she wanted to be. And she did that. She’s spunky, passionate, full of fire, kind, smart, compassionate, and so much more. I truly believe she is who she’s meant to be now. Her character was so refreshing to read about, even with all of her heartache and confusion about starting a new life with a blank slate. She’s definitely someone to look up to. I also love her wit and sass. It’s refreshing to see a female character simply be herself.Decker. Where do I even begin with this man? Whew! He had me swooning and rooting for him throughout the entire story. I love everything about his character. He is an alpha male with a soft heart. He loves the small town he lives in, the bar he helps run, his friends, and his family. He loves helping Delaney experience all of these new firsts (first date, first kiss, first love, and so much more). He shows her that living in a small town can still be one of the greatest adventures of a lifetime. You just need the right person to go on that adventure with. I didn’t know I could lust after a fictional character as much as I did with Decker. There is just something about a man in flannel with a sexy beard that gets to me. Swoon. Decker’s character honestly captivated me from the very beginning and I wanted to learn more about him. I love every second I spent reading his thoughts and feelings. Everyone needs a Decker in their life.Decker and Delaney’s chemistry is off the charts. And I mean OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS! Whew! I honestly thought I was going to combust as I was reading this story. The angst and fire between these two was almost too much to handle. It was freaking fantastic. I knew from the get go that the relationship between these two was not staying in the friend zone and I was so there for that. When they finally collided, it was pure fire and I loved everything single second of it! It’s so much more than their chemistry though. Decker truly did everything in his power to make Delaney feel at home. He wanted her to know that she was not alone in this fight. She may not remember anything about her past, but that doesn’t mean her future can’t be full of laughter, light, happiness, and love. God, these two own my heart completely. Their banter was hilarious and so fun to read. Everything about these two was fantastic. I’m game for more Delaney and Decker! The ending gave me goosebumps, it was so perfect. Decker and Delaney just might be my favorite Harloe couple yet!Overall, I give this story a 5/5! I loved every second of Keeper. This story is full of angst, scorching hot chemistry, humor, love and so much happiness I almost couldn’t handle it. Keeper is my favorite Harloe read. I cannot wait for the next read by her!

Keeper is a second chance romance with a unique twist. Delaney had woken up in a hospital bed with no memory of her life before that. She had suffered from some head trauma and had amnesia. Decker was visiting his mother in the hospital and by chance had walked into Delaneys room. He’s the only person in the time that she had been there that had recognized her. We find out that Delaney used to be best friends with Deckers sister Lacey before she had moved away a few years before that. Delaney was prim and proper and Decker was a bad boy always in trouble. Decker was always weak when it came to Delaney (we find that out later on) and agreed to help her get settled into her new life. Throughout the first part of the book we see how those one way feelings Decker had years ago are no longer one way and Delaneys new self makes it clear to him about it. It takes a ghost from Delaneys past to give Decker the push he needs to take the next step with her. I loved everything about this couple. I loved how they both were so in love it was like no one else existed but the two of them, They both had their possessive streaks (which in a lot of books it’s just the man who has this trait, but it was nice to see it go both ways), they both had swoon worthy moments, and they both had such big hearts. I do wish that this book had given a bit more of a background from Deckers point of view of how prim and proper Denaney was so we could see how much she had changed from her past. I also wish there was more about Delaneys relationship with her mother, because from a readers point of view going into that scene with no real background is just a bunch of unnecessary aggression and we don’t really have too much to go on other than job commitment. I also wish there was a little more to go on with Charles, and I really wish Decker would have at least gotten one punch in on him. I really did enjoy this book more than I thought I would going into it with such a dark beginning, however there were just some things that were missing for me that would have made this book go from a good read to a must read for me.

Ok, ok, ok.... So I've gone down the rabbit hole of Harloe Rae! I'm going through a binge and usually I'm a dark... TW dark reader. But I LOVE what I've read so far!Here we meet Dell and Deck. Dell has had an head injury and now has memory loss... She's in her old town and doesn't remember anyone or anything . Welcome Deck 😍 he remembers Dell and agreed to help her..... Sparks soon flyI loved that was focused on Dell life now rather than her past. I liked how she asked questions but that wasn't then taking up her growth in her now new-ish life.No OW dramaVery little angstFriends 2 loversOnly complain't ... Most of the side characters have been given. A short story of there hour th via funnel for free... But wanted them.. I wanted a while series lol

Just finished this standalone, and i have to say i really enjoyed every page. I loved the twist of Delaney not being able to remember her past, and i love that Decker was the one to claim her at the hospital. Added Breaker to my list to read aswell, as the prologue at the end of Keeper is amazing. Brilliant 110%

Sexy bad boy with Tatts is definitely what I needed today, thank you. Fantastically written and beautifully put together story with just the right amount of plot and sizzle. So good. Thank you again for getting me out of my anxiety today. I will be back for more from you.

Loved this book poor Delaney had it tough at the beginning but Decker is just what she needed. I knew the monster wouldn’t be far away but loved seeing their romance blossom. I would recommend this book 👍

Good book. Fairly light, at least considering what I usually read, so a nice change of pace. Characters are relatable, but the plot twist is not particularly suprising. Overall, it was enjoyable.
