Reasonably well made toy but much harder to master than advertised
Bought two of these for my boys last Christmas. Although we had a relatively good time messing around with them in days following the holiday, the learning curve required to master flight was immense. Again, fun, but very challenging.

Great for a gymnasium
hard to control. blades break with frequent indoor crashes into walls an furniture. too light for breezy wind outdoors. Great for a gymnasium.

Too hard to control to be enjoyable
I bought a pair of these from Brookstone. I'm good at flying the Blade Nano QX and the Syma X1 as well as a Wii Motion/Plus. This will be perfect right? Wrong! The quad doesn't really respond 1:1 with your control tilt. You'll tilt forward, but it doesn't go forward very much or you have to overtilt it just to keep it from going backward (mine loves to go backward!). I read the manual & always made the sure the X on the controller went solid indicating a level controller before lifting off. Strafing left and right was little better, but still many times you would be tilting and the drone would not correspond. I was always sure to keep the nose directly away from me to test the tilting. All in all, after 30 minutes of flying, this is going back to Brookstone. I love the idea of an air laser battle, but it's not much fun if the quads are not fun to control. I'm not going to spend 8 cycles learning how to hover. Really wish Blade or Syma would come out with a "Fighter Edition" of the Nano QX or X1.I hope Mimix considers a 4 channel standard controller, their quad design is pretty good although the guards aren't as strong as the Nano QX and I had a blade break in the first 5 minutes. They also have 2 kinds of replacement blades which look exactly the same except for a tiny marking...and removing a blade can be feat of strength which can easily bend the rotor shaft. Good luck to Mimix and I'm very interested in buying v2 if it has improved or different controls.

Don't waste your money
It is junk. The battery life is really short. The blades broke the first few weeks and they started hitting the propellers and the blades started braking even more. The tilt remote thing did not work at all.One propeller broke too. When I pushed the throttle up the plane went 2 feet up then it went right down.I tried charging it but no matter what I tried it still kept going right down.It is uncontrollable.Don't waste your money.

Awesome flying, great quality!
The controller for this is amazing technology all by it self. One hand to control this very agile craft. Rechargeable LiPo batteries and replaceable rotors, which are included. Intelligent design, keeping the rotors protected and replaceable skins show the thought behind this engineering feat of fun.Takes only 5 flights to get the hang of it and it is the only gaming copter out there. My wife wants one of her own. 3D gaming is here!

Pretty nice toy
I went to Brookstone and bought 4 of these with my friends... We did have a lot of fun with it, although it is a little tricky to handle at first... I'd recommend trying in a place with some space so that you can get the hang of driving it...I really like it, I hoped the controls would be more responsive like the AR Drone, but given the size i know it was a lotVery fun and would recommend to any one
