Really love the color, burgundy (really more of a darker mauve) is really pretty with the charcoal.Works as expected, improves the acoustics of my cheap tv speakers, cuts down on the rattle the sound was making off the corner it's in.Only note: there was a postcard with the panels that said there's two ways of making each panel spring into shape. Basically 1) let it sit out for 24 hours, or 2) run under water, wring out, let dry. Only option 2 works -- use warm-hot water, wrong dry, put in an area with warm air blowing. Photo shows option 1 on the left side, option 2 on the right.I tacked mine on my wall with some nails with wide heads. No smell at all on the panels & I'm usually REALLY sensitive to smells. Overall, super pleased!

Overall for the price I am really happy with these. They come very compressed in the packaging and some of them took a week to fully regain their shape, their are still about a half dozen or so that are somewhat squished.I attached these with 3M mounting tape - they don't come with any type of adhesive so plan on using a spray adhesive or something else to mount them. Overall a great value for the price

Foam gets 3 stars. Arrived in a small compressed bag. Instructions say wait a few days to expand but they only expanded very little.*******PLEASE READ*****You can either use a blow dryer with heat to expand or you can soak in warm/hot water.I chose hot water and in the pictures you can see the results. It expands to the correct size in seconds. Just ring water and blow dry or air dry.Because of this it gets 3 stars due to extra effort.Hope this helps! Check out the photos!

I got the Black & Blue pack and the sizes between the colors are different. The black is 2" thick as advertised but the Blue is not even 1". I left them separated for 3days (3x longer than the instructions ask for) and even tried the water + blow dryer method to get them to expand more. Spoilers: they don't.

I got these because of the price and they aren't too bad. They aren't as dense as other sound options but for small to medium projects, they will get the job done.

12 one-square-foot pieces for this price is pretty dern good. I have them in the corners of my recording niche and on the wall opposite. Very little bouncing sound and with the noise gate set correctly no reverb at all. Zero. I hang them with push pins because I'm not worried about the walls. Was thinking about getting another pack of 12 but no need.

Can't get rid of the smell. Maybe if you let it air out in the sun for a few years?
