Used it a couple times in some evening snorkles. The design is kind of crazy. The way that you turn on the light is that you tighten the cap that seals the battery inside all the way. The way you turn it off is you loosen the cap. It was difficult to turn on and off, especially when using the wrist strap. The light was not particularly useful or bright at dusk. Did not have an opportunity to use it a night in the water. Overall, not sure if it is useful as a snorkeling or dive flashlight.

I bought this specifically for diving as a backup light in the Mx cenotes and a little main light during ocean dives to see in dark spots. Worked perfectly, 0 leaks or issues, was quite bright, never died, nice package. It comes with a Velcro strap so I put it around my inflator tube. You might like to figure out a different mount (pocket, clip, etc.) The included battery and charger is perfect. What's not to like for the price?

This product is sold by various vendors under different names.While it seemed OK ashore it was impossible to turn off once turned on while submerged on the 1st dive. It's a twist switch and maybe the pressure bent the case for this to happen. Obviously this isn't ideal to conserve battery or when you have to turn off not to attract jelly fish etc. I didn't have enough time to care, since on the 2nd it flooded. That was the end of that...

Bought this for my hubby's birthday along with an awesome dry bag (Voli Dry Bag Backpack 20L) - he loves them both! Will be using on an upcoming vacation - I'll need to buy more batteries as he keeps getting it out to show everyone and trying it out!

Not that bright and doesn't work well below 50". We used in both Cozumel and Turks and Caicos and were not impressed.

Very bright and feels great in the hand. The only flaw with it is the light lens which scratches too easily.

Excellent light for the money very very bright and durable and if you lose it on a dive trip it was under 20 bucks!

Flashlight works fine, a few words of directions in the package would have been nice. I had to use pliers to get it open.
