Daxpoo Indoor Outdoor Waterproof Cube Led Night Solar Panel Garden Path Lights

These have an opaque plastic on 5 sides, with the bottom housing the solar panel and lights. Light shines out the sides like a lantern. You can also point the top towards objects, like a flashlight, to get stronger directional light. The flashing blue lights that indicate the unit is charging are obnoxiously bright if it is in eye range, but I like knowing it is in adequate light to be charging, so am glad the light has them. I ordered 3 of these lights. The on/off switch works easily on one of them, with more force on the second, and is a trick to get to function on the third. All 3 lights do work... just have to know the trick and where exactly to press on the power button on the one light. They are surprisingly bright. Very light weight, and compact. I like that they will float.I also purchased a soft white Luci light. The Daxapoo light is made of the same cloudy material as the Luci Lux solar lantern, which they advertise as being a softer, indoor light than their clear plastic outdoor light. I am confident the clear Luci light would be brighter than this Daxapoo. The Daxapoo light is a bit smaller than the Luci light but seems to give close to the same amount of light. The handles on the Luci are very tight and hard to get fingers under, but the light seems to be a little higher quality product. The handles on the Daxapoo are loose enough to easily get fingers under, but the construction seems a little lesser quality over all, and the power button can be an issue. The reason I chose the Daxapoo over buying more Luci lights was because I wanted the charging indicator that the Daxapoo has. But I am pleased with both products. I recommend both.

Nice little lantern with a very pleasant ambiance when a glaring light is not needed. Like that it has 2 levels of brightness and will not be harmed by rain. However, be aware that these lanterns last for less than 8hrs and take 3-4 Full Days of direct bright sunlight to fully recharge with the little solar panel, having no battery back-up. Also be aware that there are several sellers of this item and the price varies by about $2-3 despite fact that they are the identical item, so choose the cheapest!

This seemed very nice initially. And I give it two stars because if it hadn't failed, it would have been very nice. I have another brand that doesn't have the little charge indicator, which I thought was going to be very helpful. It stopped functioning after a week. Just died. I returned it with no hassle. My other, simpler brand- Mpowered, also purchase on Amazon, is still working like a charm as an alternative to the overhead light in my downstairs lavette.

Love this for camping. Just sit it in the sun and it will last for a couple of days, using it for a little while each night to get ready to go to sleep. Pretty bright and a lot better that lighting your tent with a flashlight.

They are not charging up like I thought they would. Matter a fact they don't charge up at a ll!!!!!!Also There return policy is a very short time.
