2009-2013 Polaris Ranger EV, 400, 500, and 800 Lower 2 Inch Receiver Hitch

Product came in 2 days I was surprised as it said about a week. After receiving it I looked at it and looked at the one side of one page directions. To give a little background I am a cripple with a failed back and it took me longer to get the tools out then to put it on. I have a 2009 Polaris Ranger XP special edition 700. I took the bolts and other parts and at first just placed the unit on the Polaris and saw where the bolts would have to go. If you have a winch or just the plate that covers where the winch goes that will have to come off for an easy install. I put the two bolts on the top in first with the nuts did not tighten them down as they were just to hold it up then I put my hand inside the winch opening and down in-front of the front transfer case and held the plate with the three nuts while I put the bolts in, once that was done I used an impact wrench to tighten the top two then the bottom three once tight I put the cover back over the winch opening ( I do not have the winch as I do not need that) and cleaned up job was done it is level and all it bolted right up and all in all it took maybe half an hour. I will use this to push things into my barn instead of backing them in as I have a stuffed barn.

Product purchased on amazon but shipped through a separate company (other than amazon) in a timely manner. The mount looked well built, with clean stampings and nice welds. Installation was short and easy with supplied hardware, but the receiver itself (where you insert hitch) was not level. I mean not just a little, it obviously pointed down. I removed the thing to see if something on my polaris was making for a poor alignment, but nothing. I reinstalled the mount being careful to check for correct position, still no improvement. So I hung the mount by the front bolts and stuck a level in the 2" receiver portion and leveled it, the bottom rear portion had a 3/8" gap from the frame, (and yes I checked the frame and the whole machine, and it's perfectly level). So the mount is a good idea, a little shy on engineering and execution. The angled portion of the mount is actually bent correctly, but the angle the back side of the receiver is cut at before welding is wrong. Sure, you can bolt it up and use it, but it's not right, your hitch or whatever you insert will be pointing down and more obviously than the receiver! I'd expect for this kind of money it would have been perfect.Unfortunately I have not seen any other front lower receivers on the market.KFI makes an upper mount (and I hope it's engineered & executed better) but I might install a winch so I opted for this lower mount.I'm disappointed but with some modification this one will work, either some steel shims on the bottom with longer bolts than supplied or cut and re-weld the receiver itself.

This is tough to write. Does this fit on a 2015 Polaris Ranger 570?....Yes. However the initial order took a while to show up, and when it arrived there was NO mounting hardware at all! I filed a claim and another week later the mounting hardware finally arrived, BUT one of the two 1.25" side mounting bolts was not the correct size as you can see by the picture. I've filed another claim and waiting to hear back to get the correct mounting bolt.Yes the bracket works, but having to deal with missing and incorrect bolts.....not work the hassle!

sort of fits right on a 2012 Polaris Crew Diesel. Not able to put all the bolts in the lower section. plate with nuts attached didnt fit in there like I assume it is supposed to so just put some nuts and washers on the ones I could reach and called it good. Seems to be functional. My primary use for it is a quick way to tie the unit down for trailering.

Got the hitch today and got it on in about 5 min. super easy. It is level and fits well. The part # for the hitch is 100810 and the UTV is a 2014 Polaris Ranger 800 efi. The install instructions say 2009-2011
