Headphone Adapter

I purchased this product to try to restore functionality of an iPhone SE 2020 to what my previous iPhone 6 once had. That is, the ability to charge my phone concurrently to using 3.5mm earphones. Across two different iPhones, and across two different 3.5mm earphones, the charging would start and stop intermittently, and there was a persistent high tone/hissing sound through the earphones (not present outside of connected to this adapter) when playing audio and/or video files/streams. Something like this should simply work, and it unfortunately doesn't. I returned the item for a refund, and don't plan on trying other brands of similar adapters as I believe the experience would likely be the same. For any iPhone 6/6s hold outs left out there, be sure you really want to give up that 3.5mm jack before trading up because there will be no going back--apparently, even with an adapter.

The sound quality is honestly terrible, it has a loud buzzing background noise when you’re playing a song, video, or anything, but it works so I’m giving this three stars. The sound from the music/video was too loud to listen to thanks to the buzzing (I tried turning the volume down all the way but it was incredibly loud still), and I used different earbuds to see if it was the earbud’s fault, and it wasn’t. The charging function works well, it’s just the sound quality is terrible.

They are ok. While I don’t consider myself an audio snob, I do understand what is good quality and bad quality audio. These do work. You can hear your audio while charging your phone. However, there is a high pitched hum that happens as soon as you press play on your audio. It’s even making that sound in the background as I listen to myself type this on my iPhone. If I stop typing and making the typing sound, the white noise hum stops. But resumes when I do. While I can hear the music clearly and it sounds good... This white noise hum is present in the background. I def believe I will be returning them.

I have had 3 so far of different manufacturers. The sound quality is a definite positive experience and no fooling around with the jack to make sure connection is good as your hands slowly back away as not to mess it up. Just don’t spill coffee on any of the connections! Very happy with splitter.

Does not work. !!!!!While trying to change with it there is a cracking noise so u can’t hear what u are listening toIf only used ear buds it worksbut NOT with charging !!!. So returned it.

I bought this adapter so that I would be able to listen to music & GPS directions while charging my iPhone in my car. However, while it charges the phone just fine, the audio jack simply doesn't work!!!If you are wondering if the problem could be my car's radio or the aux cable, it isn't!I've tried different aux cables and even tried plugging this into my different headphones and the result was the same. I also have adapters that do one of the two things at the time (audio, power) and they both worked fine, leaving no doubt that this adapter doesn't deliver on what it promises.If you need something that will do what this product claims to do but doesn’t deliver on, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

I have owned one of these before and the headphone jack quit working after about 3 weeks. So I ordered another from a different maker and the cord is separating from the adapter after about 4 days of use. Maybe I got a one-off product with both? But I will likely go back to using regular jacks, because we all know reinforcing the joints on these things doesn’t work.

Basically nothing about this worked on either my iPhone 10 or my iPad. Audio quality was awful and the charging part didn't work at all, giving me a "this device may not be supported" error and refusing to charge. I tried it multiple different times on both devices with the same result and ended up trashing it
