If your dog has thick hair, like a German Shepherd, just invest in an expensive pair since these are a convenient trim device but hardly good for removing a winter coat. My half English Pointer half Whippet has hair slightly less thick than the German Shepherd...meaning still super thick. These clippers would stop being effective every 2 or 3 minutes over the course of five hours it took to do her entire body.However, the cordless factor is really nice and so is the VERY LOW noise level. Those tradeoffs make these clippers worth while. If your dog has hair as opposed to fur, undercoat, etc., then these should work marvelously. I was a bit surprised at the part of the clippers which slides back and forth across the metal being plastic as apposed to metal, but it works fine.Actually, I like that because the moving side of the clippers is away from the cutting side, this means it's virtually impossible to make a mistake and cut her.This purchase was brought about by my dog having sort of unkept-looking wavy hair at her withers and on her haunches; my goal was to have them make her hair length uniform across her body. These worked fine for that.The ear trimmer attachment works AWESOME; HOWEVER, be aware that they get at VERY close shave if you do not use an attachment for length, so you'll be essentially free-handing it. My dog gets ear infections easily and cleaning out the hair as best I could from her inner ears and the base as they come out from her head has kept the ears dry and infection free – plus!

These clippers worked perfect to trim my little Maltese chihuahua mix’s tummy and I loved it for his paws! Took less than 5 minutes to trim all the fur off the bottom of all his paws. My dog is also insanely scared of everything (kitchen cabinets closing even makes him run), but after a couple of minutes of getting use to the clippers he sat perfectly still and let me cut him. It’s super easy to change the attachments as well which I liked. Only downside was that the edges of the clippers kept grabbing his fur but I think that was only because his hair had grown out super long and thick, so it just took longer and I had to be careful to trim that but once it was shorter I didn’t have a problem. The clippers were also smaller than i had expected which i ended up liking more as they were easier to hold and use. Overall would recommend these clippers.

I decided to wait a few months after purchase to write this review, these clippers get the job done. When the world went into quarantine I had to become a groomer. Upon initial purchase of these clippers one of the attachments was broken, but they immediately replaced it with no problem! My yorkie is very stubborn and although it sometimes takes starting and stopping multiple times the outcome is always success with these clippers. It would've been 5 stars but as I stated my yorkie is very stubborn so I only wish they were a tiny bit quieter then she wouldn't notice what I was doing, but great product.

Bought 2 years ago and it took a 10yr old to break them by taking it apart. They work super smooth, minimal noise, dont jam up, one pass with no guard and done. The guards attach easily and do help keep some length, a very good purchase and if needed will purchase a 3rd time, the price is way lower now than when i bought over 2yrs ago.

I bought these to try since we can't go to the groomers since the pandemic started. I am really pleased with them. I do wish the charge would last a bit longer. It took a little practice (so I did the bottom first). I do a little each night before bed so my puppy got used to it, now I am just maintaining the cut. If he doesn't need a trim, I rub him with it on so he stays used to it. Definitely a good buy when compared to an average of $60/grooming session.

I was nervous to do this, and truthfully the first time was a little erratic (my fault) but within the week the hair evened out. Mimi is my service do and is a long hair doxie and jack russell. I had kept her close clipped only in the summer, but now it can be year around. We live in the desert and summers don't go below 100 degrees for three months in the summer. The clippers are light weight, and very quiet. It comes with four blades, and one small one that will do the pad hairs. My dog would grow "grinch" hair feet and it would cost $20 to get them clipped. The groomer cost went up to $85. So needless to say am saving a lot of money. I am really happy with this product.

So I have groomed my dog for 5 years now, (he is a cockapoo) and I have always used a wahl clipper. One with a cord. Well I wanted to try something new and o am I glad I did!! This thing packs a punch, with no cord! It does a better job than my wahl. (Shocked face) The only thing I would criticize, is the charge doesn’t last too long, towards the end of my cut I could tell it start to slowly lose power, but you just plug it back up and use it again. I am glad I switched. No more cord! This is definitely worth the money!! Also, it comes with a tiny clipper for their paws! GENIUS. And very easy to clean! (You can get this whole clipper wet) Say whaaaat! Don’t hesitate to buy this.

I love these clippers. Very easy to use and my little pooch just lets me use them on her with no issues. (Except when I get to her face lol) This was my first time grooming her myself and was quite pleased. Only problem is after first use I couldn't get the blade to lay flat on one side no matter what I did. I don't want to break it so I left it alone. Just have to be cognizant of it not being level but it still cuts great.

These clippers are great to use. I have a cavoodle and a schnoodle and I groom them once a quarter. The small head is perfect for between pads and the large one is great for sensitive legs and facial hair.Unfortunately after using until it ran out of juice the first time it won't hold a re-charge. Since these are sold by Amazon US they are considered a third party. All I can do is return the item. The price has doubled since I bought the first set so I won't be purchasing them again.

Over grown iso dog to nice fresh happy dog!It took nearly 2 hours to complete this very overdue job which was done all on one charge. Worked very well and I love the small attachment that easily did between his pads on his paws without stressing him. Nice quiet machine!
