A definite MUST HAVE!

Marriage is an investment and this book is great to do as a couple.

I highly recommend this book. Also, I highly recommend waiting till you complete at least one year in marriage with your spouse to go through this book. Whether your first year was good or bad, do it after one year so that you have personal time to learn of each other naturally and get adjusted with each other. Then go through the book together. It'll serve as a reflection of your marriage. And whether the first year was good or bad, there are always discussions or unsaid things that haven't been touched (how you felt about certain things). And I recommend going through the book every few years. It's great!

LOVE this workbook! My husband and I have no marital problems and we want to keep it that way so we looked for a devotional that was for keeping a marriage strong. We found the devotional and this workbook at our local Christian bookstore and I must say, it’s a lot of fun and really gets you thinking! And it’s for all marriages! Whether you feel like you’re falling apart and need to fix it or if you’re going strong and want to keep it that way, this book asks questions that really get you thinking hard about your relationship and can even change the way you look at certain situations.It can be done on your own but I recommend getting 2, one for you and one for your spouse. There are times when it wants you to discuss your answers with your spouse but we found it fun to just compare ALL of our answers.There is a devotional book with the same title as well. It has nothing to do with the workbooks so you don’t HAVE to get it, but it is a very good devotional book if you’re looking for one to do with your spouse.

I would definitely encourage you to purchase two copies of this book, so that you and your spouse can work through the individual areas separately (when instructed), and then come back together to compare notes. If you only have one copy it sometimes can be hard to objectively rate how your spouse thinks/feels on a subject if you can see what they wrote because you're sharing the same book.Let me also say that I have an extremely high level of respect for H. Norman Wright. I have purchased several of his books and workbooks in the past, and they are fantastic. They force you to ask the tough questions, and the only reason I don't still own this book is because it was extremely similar to another of Wright's very popular marriage books, Before You Say "I Do". My wife and I loved that book and we used it to augment our pre-marital counseling while courting (yes courting as opposed to dating). Although I had done a quick comparison online before I purchased it, it wasn't until I could compare the two books side by side that I realized it was very similar, but this one was themed to those who are already married.I would highly recommend this book if you are currently married and want to improve your relationship with your spouse. His other, very similar book was fantastic and that is why I have given this product such a high rating, and I will stand behind it 100%.

This book was awesome and a blessing for us in our new journey. I recommend for all couples and you should keep handy even when you are done.

This book is an excellent book that makes you go deep into your views and values in a relationship. It makes you looks at things from a Godly perspective ("Which is how marriage was originated in the first place"). The best thing is that you can't hide because if you write it down and then come together to review your answers, you can't change what has been written down. Just be honest with your spouse and yourself and you will see how things will change, or improve.
