Serial Killers: How Statin Drugs Really Lower Cholesterol (Made Easier!)

Has there ever been anyone else like Hannah Yoseph, who actually understands human biochemistry and physiology well enough to bring it down to earth in plain, red-pill language for all the rest of us?I've read this entire book and now preach the anti-statin, anti-black-mold-toxin evangel to anyone who will listen, which turns out to be a lot more people than you'd realize. While reading this book and talking about it to other people in public, I've actually had other people ask me what I'm reading and so I show it to them. They are typically grappling with health issues and their doctors are pushing statins on them, which they are reticent about. And when I show them this book and they take down the title and author, you know they're listening.This book is a must-have for literally everyone.

I'd like to give it five stars, but it gets long and tedious and preachy. Still, it is a frightening expose and indictment of how our drug companies run the FDA, how statins are more dangerous than what they treat, and how we really shouldn't be nearly as worried about cholesterol as the scaremongers have managed to make us. I urge everyone who is on statins, or knows someone on statins to read this, then give it to them. I have lent it out non-stop since buying it.

Anyone taking these drugs, as I was for several years, should read this book. Written using information in the public domain it seems to me that there should be laws against foisting these drugs on unsuspecting people who unquestioningly follow their doctor's misguided advice.The fact that the Japanese scientist who is credited with creating statins in the first place refused to take them for his own high cholesterol because they are Toxic says it all really.

If you take a statin drug, if you know someone who does or if you have your cholesterol checked when you visit the doctor, this book is a must read. Read it and then give it to your doctor. If she refuses to read it, you'll want to get another doctor.Simply stated, statin drugs are mycotoxins. They are fungal toxins. In other words they are POISON. They cause cells to die and that is scientific fact. They are a multimillion dollar scam that have been foisted on an unsuspecting public, doctors and patients alike. They are what results when science and profit cross paths and corruption and profit reign supreme.The Yoseph's brought all this to light in their masterful work, How Statin Drugs Really Lower Cholesterol and Kill You One Cell At A Time. This new version states the case more concisely and the science is simplified. I am no scientist and marvel at how well the Yosephs take complex science and make it understandable to someone with no background. The history of how statin drugs were developed and how they got FDA approval is a fascinating read. You will never look at the words FDA approved in the same way. Kudos to the two Yosephs. They deserve much more than just my thanks for their life saving work.

I returned this book because it did not meet my expectations. I expected to get a well- written essay about the effect of statin drugs. This book was written in billboard style ( which I didn't know existed up until now). Everything was alarmist and repetitive- DON'T TAKE STATINS BECAUSE --- I've never read such a poorly written book. There obviously was no editor involved. I really wanted to like this book because I do believe that statins are not good for you. But this book was not written in a way that I could recommend it to anyone. I could not even read it.

I was prescribed statins and noticed horrendous side effects almost immediately. Muscle pains and weakness, inability to concentrate, lack of sleep and, most terrifying of all, deteriorating eyesight, I spend several months a year in South India doing humanitarian aid work so I asked the opinions fo some doctors there. The eye surgeon who had done my wife's Lasic Surgery checked me every year for cataracts as my father had had them.Year one; there was a shadow ... Indicating a future problem ( I was then about 55 ) ... NExt year it was far worse and what he asked me shocked me deeply " You have macular degeneration; are you taking statins" ? ... " Er, yes" ... "You need to make a decision; continue the statins and lose your sifght; or discontinue them! ... I was sold! When I returned to the UK... I ordered this book and haven't looked back ! If you have INSUFFICIENT cholesterol; your blood vessels will be stiff and inflexible. If you have SUFFICIENT; they will be flexible and able to deal with bursts of high BP. CHolesterol is VITAL ... ANd it can be controlled by DIET; you don't need statins !

Very informative book all facts no Fiction .Statin takers would be well advised to read this book .I personally wont take them less so since reading this book, what STATINS REALLY do to you .

An extremely enlightening read about how statins came to be adopted as ‘safe’ by the US FDA but how in reality they are very much the opposite. I took statins for 12 years but they didn’t prevent my atherosclerosis progressing to needing a heart bypass. I would not have taken them had I known the true facts as laid out in this excellent book

This is an excellent expose based upon science and fact, not theory and manipulated data.A must read for anyone prescribed statins; should be a must read for every GP and Cardiologist and it would do no harm if it made its way into the hands of the Minister of Health. A damning endictment of the pharmecutical industry

very helpful though quite technical. lots of original excerpts from drug trial documentation. ( I have lent this to my local doctors surgery)
