Great for Adults too!
Impressive packaging and quality. For the price I didn't think these scissors would be that good but they cut really well and are so easy to use. I have big hands so I contacted the company for more information. Their customer service was excellent and they reassured me that this size will work for me. I'm glad I did. I added a picture to show how they look in adult hands.

Perfect!
My nephew has been having trouble doing his schoolwork. The teacher has been saying he was too young, but we all believed it was problems due to his seizures. With no help coming from the school or his doctors who have a wait and see if it works out approach, I turned to the Internet and was pointed to these scissors. yesterday was the first time my nephew could not only do his homework, but he actually looked forward to it. He kept exclaiming that the scissors were just his size and now he can cut straight. I'm going to order a few more so we always have them available for him.

Gives me hope for my daughter but not quite what we needed
My daughter has autism and really wanted to learn to cut paper but is not yet able to use regular scissors. I was so hopefully when I found these and I will say she definitely prefers them however I really wish the handle was a bit thicker. Although for some kids I'm sure these are perfect! My daughter just couldn't quite keep these stable in her hands. They are definitely a huge step up from regular scissors but I'll have to keep searching for the perfect pair for her.I should also say they were easy to use as far as how much strength is needed. My daughter has weak muscle and didn't have an issue with that, just couldn't keep them still in her hand unfortunately

Useful in the kitchen for opening mesh produce bags
I bought this mainly to have a small pair of scissors in the kitchen for opening mesh produce bags, and for opening laundry detergent packs (convenient they may be, but sometimes they don't dissolve and end up stuck on clothing). Unfortunately, when cutting soft pliable plastic, the useful cutting area on these scissors is only at the very tip, and so require more snips to complete the job. I also bought these because of my arthritic thumbs, and it is possible to use these loop scissors using your palm to squeeze and cut, without using your thumbs.

I didn't really get it when other reviewers said these were really small. They are really, really small. I bought them for my 4 year old niece and they work okay for her, although she could also use the larger version I used to have at my preschool. Bottom line...they cut well and would be good for really young children but preschoolers probably will be better with a larger version.

Great for small hands that have a hard time with cutting skills. Also like the rounded ends for those students who forget they have scissors in their hands and start "talking" with their hands!

Great adaptive scissors.
My daughter was born with just one finger on each hand and these are perfect size/shape. She can operate them on her own at just 2 1/2 years old. They are smaller than others we have tried so she can get her hand around them.
