Daughter’s boyfriend left the freezer door ajar and no one noticed until the smell began ... due to covid panic buying (yes, I’m ashamed) several beautiful cuts of meat had gone to ruin and, boy, the smell inside and all over the garage was horrendous! Did not think my freezer was salvageable. Washed everything three times and the stench still wasn’t gone! Even used a bleach formula - nothing... by this time, our household was ruled by reports on the state of the “stink” and what the latest removal attempt had been. I read online to use charcoal so I bought these and stuffed the freezer full (truly do not think I needed to use them all but by this time, figured it couldn’t hurt). Checked on it 12 hours later, and while not completely gone, noticeably better. Left them in for 48 hours in total and Voila! No lingering odor! NOTHING!!However, as I pulled the bags of charcoal out, I knew where that smell had settled. They smelled awful. The directions said “to recharge” the bags, lay them in the sun for a few hours. Did that and bingo - no odor there either!It has been three months and this saved my deep freezer and budget! Thank you for making an awesome product that truly does what it says it will!!!

I got my box of 5 yesterday and I was surprised by the great packaging. The box itself was sturdy and it shows the various uses including how to rejuvenate the product. The 5 bags inside were as shown in Amazon - 2 blues and 3 grays. I have used all 5 in various areas of the house and I must say that the product works. My laundry room has some kind of a mildewy smell and one bag has neutralized the odor! Price is excellent for just $2.60/bag. Before I ordered this, I got one from a retail store and paid $3.99/bag. They looked exactly the same. Great gift for all occasions! Will definitely buy again.

I received the product in a timely manner. I have the bags hanging all around inside different rooms. They seem to be working fine. I gave a four star rating because I don’t think I have had them long enough to accurately rate them higher.

These are good little items. I got them for my parents' RV ... just to cut down on the musty smell that pops up every now and then. As long as your area is clean, this helps eliminate odors.They are rechargeable by laying them out in the sun for a couple hours.I was actually pretty surprised ... I put one in each closet and it was effective in eliminating the closed up closet smell within a few hours.These also look very nice. They look very tailored and cute, linen-like.

I am a big fan of charcoal bags. I like to put them in my bathroom, kitchen, my walk-in closet, and my car. The difference on this product is design . These bags look cute, came with different colors, and have a string hanger on each one of them. However, I have used one of them in my small car, and hope it could reduce the odor significantly; but that wasn't the case.

Love that there are so many in the package. I have one in my car, one in the trunk of my car, one in my closet, one in my bureau drawer, and one in my dresser. It keeps my clothes from smelling like musk and wood and my car is practically odorless. After I bring home hot food the smell lingers for maybe half an hour before it’s gone completely. Before these bags, my car would smell like food for days. The bags even cut down on the armor all smell from when I clean the interior and mats

I love my charcoal bags! I bought them to de odor-ize the smell of having pets. I think these work very well! They are bigger than I thought and look lovely hanging on a door knob. With 6, there’s enough for several spots in my home. They are very cute and I love that they are natural and chemical free. I’m big on ingredient lists for the safety of my family and dog-and these exceed my expectations. I have already recommended them to two friends with pets!!

We've had a lot of rain this year and in the past we've experienced a distinct musty/moldy smell coming from floor heating grates. And we've had the crawl space inspected, no mold growing. Just old stinky damp smells. This season we tried the charcoal bags - they truly seem to be working. The ground outside is still boggy so I have to assume we're just as damp under the house but the charcoal bags around heat vents seems to have done the job intended. Can't say much about "longevity" because we've only had these less than two weeks. But so far - so good!!

I purchased it get rid of shoes rack odour. Rack size is 2 feet by 2.5 feet with 18 inch depth. There is no difference even after using it for a week. Won't recommend.
