Wonder Puff Deep Cleansing Puffs, 12 Count

I was faced with a summer funeral, where it was going to be too hot for pantyhose, but I didn't like how pale my legs looked sticking out of a black pencil skirt... so the plan was to use leg makeup from a can... and prior to that, to exfoliate the legs via shaving and these puffs, and moisturize madly so the leg makeup would lay evenly over my skin. The plan worked great. The dead skin was gone, my legs were smooth, the leg makeup went on evenly, and my gams looked presentable. Lest you think the rest of the puffs in this bag will go to waste, you should know that they were fine also for facial use, and I have really touchy skin on my face. I found these quite tolerable, no redness or irritation. These also work well on peely skin from sunburn. I used them to take off flaking skin on my arms and legs- nothing you use will get rid of it all, but these did a very good job, and are tons cheaper than Buf Pufs, which I love, but will never pay for again. These are as good and a much better value. Oh- and they're USA made!

I am soooo happy I bought these. They are a lot larger than i thought they would be, almost the size of my whole palm (I do have a small hand though) but that's a good thing. I use these with my 100% natural black soap and my cleansing oil from Trader Joe's, they lather up great. However, these are a lot more abrasive than I expected, the ones I used to get in the store were not nearly this rough, so if you have sensitive skin like me, I would just recommend to apply a little less pressure as you are scrubbing. Also love that this is a value pack. I pretty much use one pad until both sides have worn down a bit so I'm sure I won't have to repurchase for awhile but when the time comes i'll definitely be getting them here. :)

These pads are the perfect scrubbing consistency for me. Before I gave up gluten - which in doing so miraculously restored my skin and cleared up the REALLY BAD dermatitis I had around my nose, lips, and between my eyebrows - these were my savior in helping to slough off flaky skin and let me leave the house. I still use them too - although not as religiously as I just don't need to anymore. I used to apply Baobab oil to the affected areas, let it soak a bit, then take a dry puff - you heard right - DRY - and rub and slough off the flaky dry red skin. Then I would be able to put on moisturizer and make-up and go about my day. I still use them dry with baobab oil to now much more gently scrub my face leaving it smooth and silky. Plus - once they get soft and sort of oily from my routine (takes a while actually) - I throw them in the washing machine with some towels and they come out much less firm but then turn into the perfect soft consistency to use to cleanse my entire face. They pull double duty for me in this way and last me forever!

I split them in half to get more for my money. They last a good while ( I use them for my face). Not too abrasive but i feel like one side is a smidge more rougher than the other which i like cuz some days just need a lighter touch. *** Again i split mine in half so that might be why vs. keeping it whole*** so that might be why. Overall good quality and it really is tolerable nothing crazy rough.

I have been using Buf Puf’s since I was a teenager. I have noticed they are impossible to find now. If I do, they are the sensitive ones, the white ones that come apart after two days. I ordered these hoping they would do the job. I have to say I am impressed! Like another reviewer, I cute mine in half. It did not unravel or cause any issues, cut perfectly without messing up the sponge. I think it is perfect for washing your face! It is thick and holds water. The first use it felt too abrasive but after that, it was perfect. It has been a week and I am still using the first sponge, there is little to no wear on it. I am thinking every two weeks I will replace it. Since I use soap, it is clean. I also have noticed skin that used to form under my make up, such as dry skin or chapped is gone! These do a great job at really getting your face clean and polishing your skin without getting rid of the oils it needs. I am very impressed and will continue to buy these.

I've used Buff puff singles for years, but they are getting really expensive and hard to find. I found the wonder Puff on Amazon and w/the great reviews, I had to try it. Well, the price isn't bad, that's true, but the puff itself has some issues. First it's very thick and large, and isn't easy to handle or use on your face. It is extremely abrasive. You feel like you're scratching your face. You have to keep squeezing out water because it doesn't hold water if yo wet it & it drips all over the place. That said, I have found a way that works ok for me. First, I cut the puff in half so that it's not so thick. You can get a better grip and it's more flexible to move around the face. Second, I use it very, very, lightly. I can't emphasize that enough. It feels akin to sandpaper and can hurt, so you really must be careful. Exfoliating is good, removing the skin or scratching it isnt. Having said all that, I will use these and see how they last. I have to admit that the price is pretty good, especially if you cut them in half, you then get 24. One thing I might mention is if you leave them out and have a cat, your cat is going to find it and that may be the last you see of it. My cat loves it, it's a great cat toy as far as she is concerned. I just gave up and gave her one, and she's always batting it around. I hide the other puffs.

Wife and I love them. Can't shower without them. Good price on a hard to find item. The local store no longer carries them, glad to find them on Amazon. Now we never run out. Thanks Amazon.

I'm very happy for the value and quality of this sponge!!! It lasts for a couple of weeks and leaves my face so smooth!:) I will order more in the future!:) Very similar to a product I started using about 40 years ago called "Buff Puff".

Great item when available but expensive

Great Alternative to Buf Pufs since they are not sold in Germany. They don't last as long but the 12 pack really helps. The sponge gives a deep exfoliating clean! I will purchase again! :)
