A friend of mine, whose company restores antique cars introduced me to this product. I thought I needed a new paint job, but was able to polish out all the scratches with a 7” polisher. It works so good he warned me about not over polishing and damaging the paint. Afterwards I used the 3M fine polish to protect the paint. Oh, it also works great polishing headlights.

As always 3m products are top notch in quality. Really took the gel coat from dull and dusty to bright and shiny. I tried other brands and while they worked a little, no where near the same quality as 3m. Gel coat is smooth as can be, and the 1200 grit sand scratches where the numbers were removed can’t even be seen. Be warned, using this on a vehicles paint can be done but it is very easy to burn clean through and ruin the finish, very easy.

It works well with the white pad when you’re sanding with 1000 grit on up

Everyone know 3M makes some amazing products. This is another one. I own a professional mobile detailing company, and they are my go to for polish and compounds. Been using them for over 20 years. You can't go wrong with them, if you do, you're doing something wrong.

Beyond expectations

This is the best compound for dealing with super hard high end automotive clears. Other compounds can work but take much longer to get the same effect. Overpriced but saves labour. Should prices further increase I will look for a more competive product.
