I couldn't really see these being used in private readings but they are not Oracle cards they are mediumship tarot cards. So again yes for the purpose of exploring this side I'd really recommend getting them and there is a beautiful wrote out description on the back so if your a beginner you can read through what the cards saying. The little card booklet opens out and explains what the cards are about and you see the authors pictures which is a nice touch oh and the box is lovely easy to use and they came wonderfully wrapped thank you.
