Lives on my stove
I love this wok! Like other reviewers have recommended, I would encourage you to season it yourself. I used bacon grease and did it 3x.Now I use the wok for everything and it stays on my glass top stove. I like that it's heavy enough to not move while stirring with one hand. But if you like to do the flippy flippy with your wok, this one would be obnoxiously heavy and it doesn't even have a handle or a way to attach one.In fact, if there was one request I could make it would be the ability to attach a handle.Heat disperses very well, as usual with cast iron. I haven't really used the lid much but am glad to have it.If you're looking for a great, heavy duty cast iron wok I would definitely recommend this. I fully expect this to last the rest of my life.

Nice but, but there is nothing "pre-seasoned" about this wok...
If you are new to cast iron and don't have a desire to learn, I don't recommend this wok because it is literally raw iron. I don't know what kind of seasoning they claimed to do, but this came out of the package looking like something that was just unearthed from the Iron Age. Luckily, I DO know how to care for and maintain cast iron.Straight out of the package, you want to season this thing. I first put it on the stovetop until it was hot and then rubbed a light layer of canola oil over all parts. I then put it in the over for 30 minutes at 475 F. I did this four times in total. Be sure to turn it upside down so that the oil doesn't settle at the bottom because it will get sticky. Because there are handles, make sure you position it so that they don't jam in between the rack wires. That's how you season cast iron. After this, the wok cooked just fine and as expected. Make sure you never leave it in water or have water resting inside it. You can wash it, but make sure it is completely dry after each wash. Also, run a little canola over it after each wash. Do not use olive oil or other oils with a low smoke point. They burn too fast
