Waist Trainer Corset: 9 Reinforced Steel Bones – 100% Premium Latex and Cotton Cincher by Shape of You

When I got this thing, I thought there was absolutely no way it was going to close. For reference, I am 5 ft 9 inches tall and weigh about 190 lbs. I ordered the Large. After much stretching and some help from my husband, it did fit! It is plenty long and goes from the bottom of my bra/rib cage down to over my hips. I've worn it many times, and it is never a one-person job to get it on. There are sooooo many little hooks (like bra hooks) all the way down the front and it takes one person to hold it together and another to do the hooks. It's meant to be tight to hold your waist in and I don't think it would be as effective if it fit easily, so I'm glad I didn't get it any bigger. It wouldn't have held everything in so tightly. The material is some kind of thick vinyl, it has almost a plasticky yet very flexible feel. It's definitely not breathable, but that's the point of a waist trainer. It's probably not washable, either. To clean mine I just put a bit of laundry soap on a wet washcloth, wipe it down, rinse it off, then let it air dry. This waist trainer does an awesome job of sucking everything together and making my posture great. It is impossible to slouch in this- you literally can't do it. I've worn it around the house as a waist trainer but also out as a "spanks" style waist cincher under a cocktail dress. In either case, it does not bunch, roll, twist, or move at all. The plasticky material kind of suctions to your skin and stays right where you put it when you first put it on, so make sure it's exactly where you want it before you fasten the 30+ hooks. There are no weird lumps anywhere once wearing it, and the boning does no stick out strangely (as it does on some other waist cinchers and long-line bra/corsets I've tried). I've even worn it under a tshirt and jeans, and it feels awesome! The waist of my jeans feels so loose with it on, like I've instantly lost 10 pounds. It works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do: visibly takes pounds off my middle. It looks new after almost 6 months of use about once a week. The only slightly critical thing I can say about this is I would like if it came up higher in back (above the bra "back fat" line), but I don't know how this could possibly be accomplished with the front staying under your chest. Highly recommend!

5'6 175lbs bought a Large... love it fits great! Helping me get through my rounds of insanity dvds LOL.Update: 160 lbs now :) ordering a medium! This helps me keep my stomach area toned and flatter!

I love it so much that I become the sells person for this waist trainer without being hired :) so far I made 8 of my friends and family buy it! It is so comfortable to wear and I saw results within two weeks that I had to buy a second one in a smaller size. Don't hesitate and go for it!

I have bought the real waist trainer advertised on this page, so when it came time to buy a new one I re-ordered the same one. However the product that I received was NOT the same, this one has no metal spines in it, doesn't fit, and came in an extremely beat up box. I'm NOT a satisfied customer.

I'm 140 lbs, 5'2, waist 30", short torso. first order was medium, was able to hook to the last row, so I returned and ordered small, fit exactly on the first hooks. very comfortable. but perhaps I should have ordered xsmall because I want to feel the tightness. used today for 12 hours, I will update my review and let you know if the product stretched loosely or if the latex held up.

I ordered this same product 4 months ago and got a quality product I was happy with. I re ordered it and received a cheap cotton "corset" there is no rubber or latex as stated. I am highly disappointed, it did not even receive the correct brand.

I bought 'FIRM ABS' and 'Camellias' Women's Hourglass Waist Slimming Latex Zipper and Hook Waist Trainer Corset Body Shapewear and this one as a third. All of them the same size... The first two still are intact and hook-up. This one looked good and did the job yet the hooks are less-then quality of staying hooked. And they eventually bent out of hook shape...rather quickly. It lasted about 3-4 uses and then had to be put into the-use-if-my-others are not clean or working pile. And the other 2 still work and do the job and would give them 4 stars!!!. Sorry, for the price you should expect better quality. I did not get it.

It's a great trainer, although I should have bought an xsmall, because the product was a bigger than expected. Honestly whatever size you think you may be...chances are you can fit the next size down. I am 5'1 and 123lbs, the height of the product is a little long for my body type, but I do make it work, it can be uncomfortable if you're not use to a trainer but longer you wear it the easier it will be. Sitting is a bit stiff but again you just need to adjust. But overall good I feel, will purchase again in an xsmall
