It's not a #44 but did the job
It's not a number 44 as stated. I needed it to start a hole in a firearm barrel that had a hard coat, once the hole was started I could increment to the size I wanted to end up with using standard high speed steel bits

Contradiction in Size
Stupid of me, but I was looking at "Size 44" instead of the actual listed dimensions. So I got a 0.070" drill instead of a 0.086" drill. If I had noticed the discrepancy I would have shopped elsewhere.
