A real trouper for the price
I bought this item to be part of a Burlesque act. The act was a comedy number with a lot of craziness in it. In the process, I ended up customizing this hoop skirt quite a lot - putting a hook closure in the waistband, cutting some of the vertical ribbons and putting in snaps, and adding braided cord to some of the vertical ribbons to jazz it up a bit.The hoop skirt really earned its place in my wardrobe. It was used in rehearsal for 3 months, abused in ways that are hard to describe, packed in my luggage constantly and altered all the ways listed above - and it totally hung in there. I did have to do some minor repairs - sewing back together some of the sleeves for the hoops, and reattaching the hoops when they disconnected. But for the price, this was a treasure.I'm like the stress tester of ... well .. just about everything I own, but especially anything that gets used in a Burlesque act - and this hoop skirt gets the Betty Blaize seal of approval.

Used it to make my Christmas Tree
I used this to make my dress form Christmas Tree. I was able to staple it to the dress form and to my surprise it held up. Yes, it did droop but the hoop did not tear at all and I will be using it again this year. I am thinking I may purchase a smaller hoop (one that doesn't go all the way to the floor) to make a smaller tree this year.

Nice structure
I used the petticoat for a costume but will continue to use under my renfest costumes. Decent material and a great structure

Exactly what I was looking for
I purchased the "B-white 4 Hoops" version with the wider hips for a Marie Antionette costume. It's exactly what I needed. I love that it can fold up easily for storage too. I wear an 8/10 women's and it fits comfortably around my waist. Not too tight. It made the dress look so much better! I love how lightweight it is, so it's not going to feel too heavy or too hot.

Perfect For My Costume
Perhaps I'm the only one who was looking for measurements of this product, as I was actively sewing a costume when I made this purchase and I didn't want to wait for it to arrive to measure out the fabric, so I've provided photos with measurements. Here's to the fellow creatives! 🥂But onto the product review:This did exactly what I needed it to do. I was worried because I saw some reviews saying that it doesn't hold heavy fabric, but I didn't have that issue. The elastic was a good size for me (my waist is 30" when corseted) and it held the fabric the way I needed. I used fairly hefty, wool-lined satin fabric. I'm very happy with the final product (pictured). I wore this four times over the course of one weekend and it held up well with some slight wear and tear, which is to be expected considering the performances I'm doing, but nothing that can't easily be fixed. Love!!

Almost perfect
I used this wide hip bustle in my steam punk cosplay. It was perfect under the 25 yard skirt and flared corset.

Better than a regular petticoat!
I have a “regular” hoop skirt/petticoat, and this is MUCH better. It’s lighter, comfortable, and sitting is SO EASY! I opted for the frame missing the front with the idea it would make walking around easier. I was right and this is awesome!

Didn’t fit well
It would have worked if I wasn’t so fat.

Bigger waists beware.
Technically, this fits my 39in waist, but stretching the elastic waist band to the max makes the pannier take a weird form in the front. Maybe it's fixable but I don't know how. One of the bones slipped out so I can confirm they are steel bones like advertised. I'm 5'8 and it's long enough for floor length gowns.

Okay
Cannot take the weight of dress, collapses easily.
