It's not bad, feels slightly cheap and fragile, afraid if I bump into it, it will fall and break, but it's holding up. The entire kit including the ring light is plastic. Easy to assemble (no directions) It's multiple brightness levels, I believe it is supposed to have 10, is weak and should have been just 5 strong variants instead of these hardly noticeable 10 variations. I find it a struggle to put my iPhone 8 into it's adjustable holder, and it completely feels like it's going to topple not to mention you need to be gentle putting it into it's movable position, once the phone was in, it did try to droop out of place, so be patient. I was hoping it would be taller (it's the height it says it is) but could be taller. If you are shooting a standing interview, it's kind of pointless, but it is taller than most others out there. It needs a longer plug and it would have been nice to have a battery alternative for outside or travel. Has lots of movement on the swivels and I appreciate that it will go 90 degrees to shoot table top. But, with all that said, its not badly made for an affordable ring light. Totally worked, almost too good as it reveals every facial secret you are trying to hide. But it really works when it comes to doing film and photography, anything that needs a central light and diminish shadows. I haven't experimented with depth though, assuming it's mainly for close ups or about 3 feet. After all of the research and comparisons, this was probably the best choice, It looks like what I paid for, affordable, practical and sufficient for the average instagram or photography job.

The light arrived quickly and was packaged fine. My only complaint is that there are quite a few pieces to put together and there are no instructions. Seemingly there are different parts that attach to do different things, but I really don't know. I bought it because I now work from home and I'm on a lot of video calls, and my office has a lot of windows causing a lot of backlight and people couldn't see me clearly. This has fixed the problem. If I really wanted to switch up the stand and use it for its true purpose, I'd have to do some digging to find out how/where all the parts are supposed to work.

I’ll try this again since you won’t allow my honest review to be heard. These come with NO clear instructions at all. There is a photo with a few useless steps but the main ones are not included. Mines didn’t even come with a link to find any additional steps. How am I suppose to hook up the small part to use the remote. Might have given 5 stars but I can’t use this for what I need because I don’t know how. Not sure why my review was flagged the first time...you ask for honest reviews so that’s what I am giving. No policies broken..this is MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!!!

Update: Once my husband came home and put it together, we were good to Go! The seller even reached out to me after seeing my review offering to help rectify the situation. This ring light works great for my needs and purpose! Nice addition.This product came with NO INSTRUCTIONS or assembling diagrams. I pulled the pieces out of the box, tried to make sense of it and put it back in the box. Will let my husband look at it this weekend.

It’s great light source and define Olu brightens me up. Be carefully not to plug it into your PC computer because it might warp the power In your computer. My computer went bonkers when I plugged the light in. Instead use your phone charger. I wish they would have provided a direct source of power instead of just the usb cord.No instructions were included so I’m most of the prices I haven’t used yet. I don’t know how... but I guess I’ll figure it out as I go

After looking through many different options on Amazon, and trying to find the right one to use with the youtube videos I decided on this. I'm glad I did. It has many options to dim from low to bright, 3 color variations, and remote control to start and stop the camera for pictures and videos on your phone. I did however end up ordering another remote to control the pictures and video as I couldn't get the one that came with it to sync with my GalaxyS20. Overall great product and I would recommend it to anyone. The phone holder is also very sturdy and stays perfectly in place and will hold your phone very steady.

This item wasn’t horribly expensive and I do believe it will do what I need it to do, but it came with zero instructions. It has a lot of moving pieces and it would be nice to see or know how they each work. I will probably have to do my own research and look for videos on YouTube.

Bought this for my son's video production class and he absolutely loves it. The improvement on the livestream and recorded video is great, providing consistent, clear, and even lighting. The tripod is sturdy and it was very easy to set up. It's a great bargain compared to the much more expensive kit his professor was suggesting, and the results are just as good as the professor suggested. He had no idea that we purchased the non suggested kit, but my son did research and chatted with other vloggers and this one was bright up constantly as a great buy. They were not wrong.
