Met all my requirements and petite appropriate!
Back story:I'm really surprised at how much I like this bag. Call it bias on my part, but I usually commute to work on the subway and walk 4 miles to work everyday. I need a serious bag to hold my laptop, mifi, iPhone, makeup, as well as space to pack other items - snacks, smaller packages (I get them delivered at work), reusable bags (I work in San Francisco, they charge for shopping bags). I am honestly a serial overpacker. Combine this with my petite stature (5'2"), if I'm not careful, the bag will be bigger than me. I HAVE to buy bags that fit my frame, yet still hold a lot, because I will fill every spare inch. My last bag was a Timbuk2 Candybar 2015. I actually LOVED it, but foolishly bought it in an off-white color. The streets of San Francisco were not kind to it.Cue my new search.I have had my eye on this bag for a bit. It met all my requirements - Flap closure without magnetic snaps, preferably buckles. In fact no magnets on the bag period. Closable outside pockets to secure my iPhone and transit pass. No taller than 16 inches. Darker color. Not overly girly, but still feminine!I chose the brown, though I think all the colors are cute. Khaki was too light and blue had less contrast, so I went with the brown, though it was not as dark as I was initially considering (which is why it too so long to order!).Observations:- The color is pretty accurate online.- The material is a thick canvas and the bottom is reinforced. Stitching is even!- The straps are wide and wonderfully padded.-T he outside pockets are very spacious and I find the snaps to be quite secure, yet still easy to do with one hand.- The built in interior organizer is a bit skimpy for me (since I overpack). There are two slip pockets and a zippered pouch, all on the back wall. To help with the organization, I fit in a 15" Cocoon grid-It organizer that I like to use for all the little cables and other things so they don't fall to the bottom of my bag.- There is a laptop/deep pocket on back under the built organizer pockets (the organizer closes it with a bit of velcro). It is unfortunately not really padded (which made me question whether it really was for a laptop), but I have a padded sleeve I use anyway with my 13 inch Macbook Pro and I fit that in there no problem. I measured this pocket at 10.5 wide. It does not go all the way up, and has a closed bottom that set higer than the bottom of the bag. I measured the space from the bottom of the pocket to the top of the bag at 14.5 inches. I would expect a 15" macbook pro to fit. As a testament to how roomy the back wall laptop pocket is, I also added a foam board at the very back (think placemat) that I'd used in my last bag for extra padding.- My biggest gripe is that it is not waterproof as my usual ballistic nylon bags, but I have waterproofing spray.I've been walking around with it on my back for several hours now, going through the normal motions such as getting my phone or transit pass, taking out my laptop, stuffing in a jacket, all just to get a feel and I'm very happy with my purchase thus far!

<3 my backpack
I've been using this backpack for the last year and a half now and it's withstood 2-3 textbooks at a time, a laptop, and countless rides on the lightrail with ease. The straps are well padded, which makes carrying it quite comfortable. It also has an ample number of compartments to hold pencils, makeup, headphones, etc, and I still can't get over how cute and stylish it is. I always feel so hip when I carry it around haha. Love it!

Just what I wanted!
I like this backpack. It is sturdy canvas and leather. It is easy to get on and off and stuff into the overhead on a plane. It has one larger compartment and one smaller front compartment. And the color is cool.

I love this backpack
I love this backpack. The front zipper sticks sometimes. I reported this to the seller and they gave me $10 to get it fixed, which was so nice!I bought a camelbak bladder and put it in the "laptop interlayer" pocket inside, and it's perfect for everything I use it for.Highly recommend!

A great backpack for the price of it
A great backpack for the price of it! It was quite bigger then I thought, which is ok. A little "nib" in the zipper on front pocket. Other then that perfect!

Cute and Functional!
I love this bag. It's both cute and very functional. There is an inside pocket that fits my macbook air perfectly (though I suspect that it would be a tight fit for a larger computer). Feels very well made.
