Klaussner TOLBERT Sofa, Portobella

I didn't want to write a review right away, because I wanted to examine how this sofa would stand up over time. First let me say, this is the most comfortable piece of furniture I have ever owned. Well, it's been a little over two years and I can honestly tell you this sofa is wonderful and looks as good today as the day it was delivered. The fabric is durable and there has been no pilling, no snags, no rips or sags. The color is more golden, but still neutral. The sofa gets a lot of use. Everyone who comes to my house finds this sofa super comfortable. The cushions have held up well, and have stayed as firm as the day I got the sofa and the pillows have also. That being said, this is a large sofa, by that I mean it is deep. The delivery men had a bit of a time getting it into my living room and had to take off the feet. My front door is fairly wide, but it was still a tight fit. Yet once the sofa was set in place it has been perfect. The sofa is not difficult to move if you need to vacuum behind it. The deep seating and high back make this sofa extremely comfortable. The seat cushions can be all be turn over to extend wear, but the back cushions are attached and therefor cannot be moved. But because of the high back and deep seating area the scale is on the larger side. Meaning other furniture in the room may look smaller by comparison. Your end tables will need to be fairly substantial to balance the scale of the sofa. I have another sofa in the room and it looks down right dinky compared to this sofa. I also found the sofa to be extremely inexpensive for its quality and comfort, compared to so many others on the market today that are far more expensive. Wayfair also has this sofa, but at the time it was a little more expensive, so I purchased from Amazon. After all this time I still highly recommend this sofa.

I agree that the couch looks nice but I am having problems with the end cushions. Both are slanted and when I sit on them I feel like I am about to fall on the center cushion. I have only had the couch for two months and the cushions were not like that when I received the couch. The couch is used sparingly and I am only 155 lbs. Maybe these cushions are supposed to be like that but I can't imagine the other reviewers are content with this if the cushions are like that.Contacting the company seems to be impossible. Their 'contact' link on their webpage takes me to FAQs, no phone number, no email, just a snail mail address. Maybe they'll respond through here.

The sofa is better than I expected, and I am happy with the purchase. The carrier, however, did not want to bring it inside the house. They claimed that they did not have the insurance to cover any damages if they came in. I thought that was strange for an item this large and heavy.

I just got thus sofa delivered today, I've been waiting over three weeks to get it, problems with the Carrier, not the company. First let me say, thus sofa is absolutely the most beautiful sofa I've seen in person!! I am extremely happy with my decision and it was well worth the wait. Thus sofa is heavy, solid, and very well crafted. I am soooo Thankful I found and purchased it !! I will post pics here in a few days, we're still moving, so I want to get the pics of the safa, sitting at its best!!

I love the size of the sofas, but the material is not smooth. Very rough if it wouldn't have been such a big deal Because of size I would have returned the sofas only because of the rough material to sit on it. So as long as we were pants it's perfect, with shorts or pajamas not so much.

This is a great sofa and I would definitely recommend it. It is light gold color and the fabric is very high quality. I have visited a lot of local places and similar quality sofas were priced at 2x. Seat cushions are very comfortable and they come off. Back cushions are attached/sewed to the frame, so they don't come off.

Beautiful, large, well-built sofa used in our formal living room. Took a while to get here, but well worth the wait! We using pillows in blues and greens which look perfect with this neutral upholstery. GREAT DEAL.

This sofa is exactly how it looks. It is beautiful. The bottom cushions due unzip for washing the back cushions are attached. Very nice.
