Not Nicci French’s best
This book is unfocused. Very hard to force my way through. Gets better at the end. Not sure struggling through was worth it.

Lilly
A very deep story sending me to places I did not know exist. I am always fully engrossed in Nicci French's books. When I finish reading one of her stories I sometimes wish it would go on for ever.

Not that much of a mystery but interesting enough
It started really well and it become really cool at the end, it is the middle where I kept getting distracted and not understanding where the mystery actually is.

Good read
Found the story line interesting, well written, enjoyed it and would recommend. Found the final chapter interesting and had to go back and reread it just to make sure I hadn't misunderstood it

Thriller, Schmiller
This is my first dip into the domestic thriller genre. The writing is well-crafted, fine beach read, not literature by any means.

I really enjoyed this book
I really enjoyed this book, as with all the Nicci French novels I have read. I found Holly to be an interesting character and I felt the adrenalin as I was carried along with her on her manic ride. A good cast of supporting characters too.

One Star
Predictable and repetitive

Expected more from this author...
I was mildly disappointed - I like this author(s) and expected better creation than this.Their other books (The Memory Game for expample) are much better.
