A Must Have Product for Any Shotgun Owner.
I have owned one of these for over a year now, both the Shotgun unit and the Rifle unit. I recently purchased a number of these for Christmas gifting. They really are one of the most innovative and useful gun gadgets you will ever own. Simply stated, the BeamLOKR allows you to attache a flashlight to virtually any long arm, with a simple snap of a magnetic mounting bracket. This particular model is for 12 ga. Shotguns and comes with a pretty nice little light....however, you can easily snap in your own flashlight if you own one. (Any one inch diameter flashlight will fit, I usually use a mag-lite XL50, but virtually all flashlight companies make a one inch light.) This device allows me to use my basic Ithaca 12 ga. bird gun for home defense purposes...However, I have friends who use it on their home defense style shotguns just fine (like the Remington 870 series). This system is mounted on the barrel, and it handles recoil just fine. (Just be certain not to mount it in the magazine tube, it is designed for the barrel. The magnets never touch the barrel so no scratching will take place, they float just off the metal. I like being able to move it easily from weapon to weapon. The 12 Ga, Unit fits many thicker barrel long guns. For example I also use this on my Marlin .357 lever action rifle, my grand daughter's Red Ryder BB gun, and even my bull barrel Ruger MkII pistol. It is very versatile and you can not beat the price. Once your friends see this, they will all want one, Trust me!

BEAMSLACKER
I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on this product and had pretty high hopes of it working, however having it set on my limberta semi-automatic 12g shotgun, USIND A VERY SMALL AND LITE FLASH LIGHT, just using birdshot, it fell off just about every time and of course buck shot every time.3 DIFFERENT 12GS WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT LOADS. Same disappointment! !! I thought I'd try it on my 20 gauge rather than return it and so far it's hanging in there but I "WOULD NOT" recommend paying the 23 $24 that you pay for this thing! Get you a regular mount and pass up on this! I think it's better for either a rifle or for a 410 or 20 gauge or a BB GUN, but 12 gauge a big" NO GO,"that's my two cents worth.WELL NO THATS MY $24.OO WORTH, LOL! Thanks.....

Strong Magnets
This is a good product. I bought it because it is cheap and can easily be put on or removed. When I was shooting, my flashlight did fall out of the mount, but I believe it is because the forend hit it and knocked it out of place. The magnets are very strong and held in place while shooting. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a cheap, reliable, and clean looking flashlight mount.

Would not recommend.
The flashlight works and is sufficiently bright for my needs. However, I brought it to the range and ran 6 target shot rounds through my Remington 870 while the light was attached. The light holder fell off every other shot. Working only 50% of the time in a home defense situation is not ideal. I imagine it would fall off every time if I used heavier home defense rounds. Needs much stronger magnets apparently. Would not recommend.

The magnetic base is great, but for the $45 this cost
I ordered this after my dog got in a fight with a possum. It was dark outside and I won't fire blindly into the dark. I figured this would be just the thing to attach to any number of weapons at my disposal. It arrived in 2 days. I attached it to my trusty Red Ryder BB gun barrel and turned it on. Thats the problem. There is very little light! It came on bright for about 1 second. I installed a new Duracell and it didn't help the brightness at all. The magnetic base is great, but for the $45 this cost, I'd be better off with duct tape and a regular flashlight. I'm going to try a regular flashlight witha 1" tube. If it serves my purpose I'll keep it, if not it's going back. Tactical my a$$.

I like it
I like this attachment. It is very lite. I do not feel flashlight is as secure as I would like. There is mention in some reviews about a bush type strap for extra security but mine did not come with one. I will write the company and if I get one will update review. I might drill it and use cable ties otherwise. As I received mine it is lighter but flashlight not as secure compared with Olight X-WMO2

I like it!
I love this product for a couple of reasons: it is lightweight, easy to put on and take off and holds my flashlights very well. Yes, it is easy to slide around and it is by no means a combat light mount but I knew that when I ordered it. I use this on my Mossberg 500 pistol grip 12 gauge for home defense. I attached it to the barrel as it is designed to be and then slid it forward as far as it would go on my weapon and installed a tactical flashlight. Moved around the house several times and it remained in position with no problems. Have NOT yet fired the weapon with the mount in place but will update this review when I do and report my experience. I like it so far and think it is a good value for the money!

I would not recommend this product
I purchased this for my Mossberg Shockwave because it was the only mount I could find to fit its short barrel. The barrel is blued (not Parkerised). It held the flashlight well, but with low recoil Aguila 12 Gauge Buckshot Minishells it fell off after the second round was fired. I would not recommend this product.
