Brain fart I guess.
POC really. Still don't know why I agreed to pay ten bucks even for 2 of them? Brain fart I guess. Will not work/assemble correctly if you follow the directions exactly. Your are going to have to use more staples in more places than shown to make the two halves fit together well enough so it will work at all. What you get is two sheets of thick cardboard with perforated cut-outs you have to fold. Would have given it more * 's if it was under $5 where it belongs.

Great, If you know how to use it
Please disregard the previous review because I have came to the conclusion that they did not use the item correctly. To use the Skyscope, you must read the degree of the rocket at apogee, then you simply use the table of tangents to find the tangent of that degree then multiply the tangent by the baseline (how far away you are from thelaunchpad), then you get the height of your rocket. Doesn't work
Put together according to instructions and the sliding component doesn't slide when you pinch like it says. I have tried many different strategies to get it to work, but I can't find one that is successful.

Flimsy and hard to use
I bought this so my 5th grade rocket club could measure the altitude of their launches. One of my students discribed it perfectly. "this is lame, we could guess better than this measures."There might be some magic here but the 5th graders couldn't find it.
