The Mustard Seeds put out consistently phenomenal rock albums, period. The musicianship is top-notch, the songwriting ace, and the performances brilliant. Why are they so under the radar? I've been foisting their albums on everyone who will listen, and it's not like the individual musicians are unknown. Bissonette has played for everyone under the sun, at least. Where's the love from all those people he's done session and tour work for?Get this if you're a fan of The Beatles, King's X, Jellyfish, Galactic Cowboys, Fancey, The Beach Boys, or just good music in general. That bands like these can't get arrested while Nickelback gets shoved down our throats is exactly everything that's wrong with the music industry right now.

Totally agree with David Johnson's review "Why Isn't This Band Huge?". This is really great stuff, Love The Drum Tracks. A friend turned me on to The Mustard Seeds. Ask yourself, "Why don't I have a friend like that?"!

Ich hörte zum ersten Mal von der Band um etwa 1999 herum. Mein Nachbar hatte das erste Album, welches bereits bei Marlboro Music erschienen war. Guter Hardrock mit nie fehlenden Harmonieen machten dieses Album für mich zu einem der Besten meines damals bisherigen Lebens. Die zweite Scheibe (mit der Acoustic-Version von "Quicksand") hatte ich bis auf Quicksand nie so richtig gehört. Und bis vor wenigen Monaten habe ich die Nummer "III" nur über Spotify wahrgenommen, was mir aber nicht genügte. Ich wollte natürlich ebenso wie die beiden anderen Scheiben, auch diese mein Eigen nennen. Und was soll ich sagen ... Es ist mein personal favourite album of the year 2015. Obwohl es schon längere Zeit auf dem Markt ist! Kaufempfehlung!
