Not only can I work faster, I produce better work because it's so much easier to fine-tune aspects of my videos. I've gotten much more creative with color because of how intuitive it is to just grab one of the dials and play with it until it's just right. And sometimes it just makes me approach my work with more positivity because it's so satisfying to use. If you're debating between this or the cheaper Loupedeck Live, I probably spend 95% of my time using the top half of the device, which is what you would get with the Live. If you're on a budget, that's a big savings for, in my opinion, all the important functionality. I do think the Loupedeck software underutilizes the possibilities for the main control dial, but just last week an update came out that enhanced it somewhat, so maybe I will find more use for that in the future. As an aside, while I bought the Loupedeck for video editing in MacOS, I've also taken advantage of it for gaming in Windows, and it's been lots of fun to program it to enhance my controls. The possibilities of what it can do in any app are pretty broad, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface. On the physical side, it feels well-built and solid, but also small, thin, and easily portable, and it tucks away easily when I don't need it. I put some tall rubber bumpers on the back edge to make it stand up at more of an angle, as it normally sits very flat. Review: Windows driver could be better - I need to logout or sometime restart machine because device driver does not work properly and device goes blank. Only reboot or logoff (sometimes logoff is not enough) fix the issue. With all that it is still a great product. instead of remembering how to compile stuff with a long command line you can just remember in a button. works great with VNC so also under linux (through vnc) you can use it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still supported but ultimately abandoned far too early, made editing so much nicer *by A***R on July 13, 2026* For anyone that may be looking over reviews of this and considering it secondhand, short of an incredible deal I want to caution against it as while they're continuing to support the Loupedeck due to a shared backend platform between it and the Logitech Command Console, that could end any time. They've also neutered its functionality and although it has a Bluetooth chip, they never implemented anything with it though the cord is absurdly short. It's unfortunate, because the Loupedeck CT was an amazing piece of hardware. The size and layout keep the various controls accessible but with enough space that even with clumsy fingers, it's easy-to-use. You're able to customize deeply, including even the icons and labels along with complicated macros, and everything is responsive without lag. Switching between programs and the appropriate profile loading was seamless, too, as I frequently jump between Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, and Rebelle with shortcuts in each one. Your profiles can be backed up and are also retained in their cloud, so getting up and running after reformats or switching computers is a quick and painless process. While I haven't tried the Logitech Command Console yet, it is definitely disappointing to pay over $500 for something to become unsupported a year later. The Loupedeck nestles perfectly in the middle of a split keyboard setup and makes editing way more pleasant, and if you work professionally in design, editing, digital illustration, etc., I can't overstate how nice it is being able to tap a single button or turn a dial instead of stopping to do a two-handed shortcut.
