Instead, I painted the tile around the fireplace. Worked pretty well, but it used more paint than I thought it would. The countertop paint seems to use more than the cabinet paint. To purchase new counters would've cost me several thousand dollars more than I expected due to having extra wide (4') counters. I found this product and thought I'd give it a try. It worked beautifully. Nice hard surface, no peeling. Everyone comments on how nice they look and a couple people liked them so much they purchased their own kits. Just be sure to take your time with this. Adequate drying time in between coats is key to a perfect finish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use and certainly changes the look of a ... *by K***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2015* Easy to use and certainly changes the look of a older counter top. Hopefully, after a years time it will withstand the daily use. I probably should have applied the "flecs" a little heavier but overall it is a good product. No odor either when applying. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/17984004-reclaim-rc47-countertop-makeover-kit-its-as-easy-as-roll](https://www.desertcart.be/products/17984004-reclaim-rc47-countertop-makeover-kit-its-as-easy-as-roll) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
