A little tricky but it works.
For pancakes, do not fill the molds to the top. The batter will rise as it cooks, and it needs to stay within the mold in order to flip it without making a mess. You may need to experiment to get the perfect fill amount. The finished pancakes come out very fluffy in that the batter stays contaIned and therefore rises instead of spreading out. I also used it for hash browns. If you pack each mold full and press the potatoes down with a spatula, it works very well and will flip without losing the potatoes through the holes. It’s a pretty cool gadget. Just takes some getting used to.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
AGAIN, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! It did not and would not lay flat, no matter what I did. I let the thing get hot first thinking that the heat would help it to lay completely flat , but it just wouldn’t. So then I thought, well maybe if I fill the cups with the batter, that would help it to lay flat, but it didn’t. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to flip it over without making a mess The only way you can flip it over without making a mess is if you let the batter cook all the way through on the one side, but even then it still won’t flip over easily.

It is hard to use if u don’t have the right pan that is flat enough. It’s hard to clean if u crack eggs in it. Also, to butter the sides of each one use spray butter.

Great Idea.Tried this product several ways and times before tossing it. Always made a mess when flipping.Picture claims negative reviews are from people not oiling both sides of product enough first.The pictures showing it being used for pancakes do not show any visible oil. Very frustrating object.

Does not work well
This product does not work as advertised. When you go to flip it to the other side to cook the opposite side, the batter spills and gets everywhere. No matter how fast or slow you do it. Very messy!
