Decade

I am addicted to the High Kings. Once you listen, you never are quite satisfied with similar groups or other versions of the classic tunes. I first listened to "Memory Lane" and then just bought all their albums. Three generations of my family love them, but the grandkids must have "The Irish Rover." I think we have worn out that song on the CD player and we all sing along, clapping and shouting "Hey"!

The High Kings are excellent Celtic band, four talented individuals that play multiple instruments, all with excellent voices. I have seen them perform on at least a half dozen occasions and am never disappointed. The album contains selected material from previous albums as well as 5 new selections.

Great selection of tunes from the extensive High Kings catalogue. The flow from tune to tune is just fantastic.if you’re a High Kings fan or like Irish music you will enjoy this album. Wish it included a second CD.

Overall, a solid purchase. However, I am disappointed in the version of "Green Fields of France" that they included on this album. It's a quick, almost upbeat song that is a far cry from their slow, mournful rendition that I fell in love with. I'll have to skip that track every time it comes around.

Great, lively Irish Music! Lots of fun. Makes one want to sing along!

Great album, my daughter recently received it as a birthday gift and we all enjoyed the music.

High Kings are a great Irish Folk Band. These songs we have sung for years except their new one Friends For Life which is a wonderful Story/Song.

It is a very good tape. Enjoy!
