Review: Resin art beginner - I have been working with this resin for the last few months and am really happy with it. As a beginner, I find it easy to work with and as I have been learning and expanding my knowledge of pouring resin, I have found this resin really delivers in regards to clarity in finished pieces. I've been making skulls with this resin and it has been working great for making some of my more technical ideas become a reality. I've always had it harden consistently (I've noticed in reviews of other resins that sometimes others can have difficulties with that), it's easy to work with to get bubbles out, and it just delivers an overall great final product. Highly recommend.

Mixing it together was good and easy. I mixed about 5 minutes or less before pouring. Some sat for a bit using different colors, but did not start hardening too soon. Overnight I let it sit. In the morning it hardened perfectly! Nice and durable. It doesn't yellow. Perfectly clear. Cleaning was easy. Again not having the smell helped alot. Definitely recommended!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Some reviews say this is thinner and some say it is thicker. I have used amazing clear cast and liquid diamonds. how does this compare in viscosity?**
A: The thickness can often be attributed to the temperature of the resin. This resin does best when it is kept at 70°. I've been consistently using this brand now for three years. In the summer when it is warm, the resin will appear "thinner". In the winter, if it gets below 70° it will be "thick and viscous" I recommend putting the bottles in a warm water bath during in the colder months before you mix the resin. It will help "thin" the resin and also helps with air bubbles.

**Q: 1) Is this product consider food safe? and 2) what is the maximum temperature it can be exposed to?**
A: Food use in cold foods only - i.e glass edges. Not recommended for hot foods. It yellows in sunlight, so it's probably heat sensitive. I would not use it for food items.

**Q: After curing, the surface is blotchy. Part of it is glossy and part of it is Matte. What would cause this?**
A: Your solution wasn’t mixed long enough. I recommend stirring longer than the recommended amount of time

**Q: How thick can it be poured?**
A: I’ve done an inch and had no problem

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic resin. Crystal clear. Few bubbles!

I bought this resin because I had purchased Art Resin and had a terrible time with all the bubbles. I was looking for a safe resin, without carcinogens or VOC's, that could be used for a variety of uses, was clear, UV resistant, and easy to use. This checks every single one of those boxes! The pot time is reasonable. Any bubbles you put into it stirring just come right to the surface and pop with very little effort. It cures quickly and very hard. It is BEAUTIFULLY clear. The bubbles even pop when you're working with it at a thicker viscosity, trying to keep glitter and such suspended. It isn't very stinky, though there is a plasticy smell when it starts setting up. Have a care though, it does get hot! I mixed up 2 oz in a small cup and left it to start to gel and after about 15 minutes it was HOT and started to smell of plastic. It still cured fine and wonderfully clear, but I wouldn't use it for deep pours or anything. For jewelry, petri's and the like though, it's excellent! I have found my go-to resin. Sorry Art Resin. This has you on every count, including price!
