I loved this book so much I bought another copy so that my husband could have one on his bedside table as well. We both do the activities with our little girl and enjoy the useful tips given on each page. I have also given the book to several expecting and new moms as I think it's a great guide for all new moms.The back cover of the book describes the book best when it says it is "full of prayerful, playful and above all practical information with thoughtful devotions and Scripture verses to refresh your soul."I found the daily activities easy to follow and great ways to bond with my little girl. Additionally I loved the information that this very experienced mom offered about how a child develops and found my own spirituality revived as a result of the author's gentle reminders about what a gift a child is.I highly recommend this book and hope that the author will publish more like it for older kids.

This is a wonderful book to give to new moms, or expectant moms. It is inspirational, and provides practical ways to nuture your baby through each day of the first year. It was written by a mother of four who already had twelve years of experience when she wrote the book. She offers insights and daily suggestions for nurturing your bundle of joy each day of the first year. There are many interactive activities, easy to do, and require only a few minutes of your time. I first purchased this 8 years ago when my daughter was expecting their first child, and since that time I have continued to give this gift to expectant moms. It's a gem!

If you're looking for a book to encourage a new Mom to enjoy every precious moment with their baby, and remember that he/she is a gift from God, then this is a must have. The book is filled with daily tips, prayers, games, poems, songs and scripture all aimed at helping a Mom love their baby well, and through the eyes of God. I give this book to all new Moms. This is beautifully written from an obviously beautiful mother's heart! I love how faith is weaved with the practical. We have enjoyed many of her fun ideas but my favorite is the blessing of the baby upon his arrival at home!

Not what I was expecting. Less facts and more prayers. Would be great for someone religious, but it wasn't for me and I did return the book.
