Smells great but not very moist
I wanted wet wipes with safe natural ingredients and no artificial frangrances. I tend to use Earth's Best brand of wet wipes and have been happy with them but wanted to try something with essential oils scent for a change. These wipes smell fresh. The scent was almost overwhelming at first because I was used to unscented wipes but my nose has become used to it. The individual wipe is a nice size. The containers have a good seal and mini lid closure on top to keep wipes from getting dried out which is nice when you take them on the go. On the down side, these wipes are not very moist to begin with which makes it hard to use them to clean up messy hands/faces and after BM. I'm using more wipes on my kid to clean up after BM compared to my previous wipes. I have been adding water to the open package but they are still not as moist as EB wipes. My kid is not prone to diaper rash so cannot rate on its ability to heal or prevent rash.

My favorite of a test of 3 natural wipes
After learning the Lansinoh wipes I was using had a number of chemicals and contained parabens (which are a controversial additive) I decided to switch to a more natural wipe. I tried these wipes, Jackson Reece Kinder by Nature wipes, and the Honest Company wipes. Of the three, these were my personal favorite.Packaging: All three are in a soft plastic wrapping. Both Jackson and Reece and the Honest Company wipes used a plastic sticker for the closure. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but when the package contains wet wipes, the sticker gets wet and then the sticker will no longer stick to the top of the wipes. Then consequently the wipes dry out and the package is left open to dust, germs, etc. These wipes have a hard plastic closure that snaps shut. This is so much easier to work with.Convenience: Both The Honest Company wipes and Jackson Reece wipes would pull out in mass (seriously 10+ wipes would come out all together). What a pain in the rear! Then I would have to stick them back in the wipes case in a wad and of course the little sticker closure would not hold shut. The clearly herbal wipes usually only come out one-two at the most at a time. They wouldn't get stuck together in huge wads. They are clearly the winner in this category.Cleaning ability: Lets be honest, this is probably the most important part of wipes. The Jackson and Reece wipes are the smoothest of the three. They just don't grip the poop as well and they have a soapy/foamy texture that is left behind. The Honest Company, in my opinion, has the best texture to their wipes. They have a honeycomb pattern and they seemed to clean up the best. But that is not very helpful when all of your wipes are dried out (see packaging above). Clearly herbal wipes are a smoother texture, but have kind of a weave to them. They work really well except for really sticky messes are sometimes hard to clean up. The Honest Company wipes win in this category, but Clearly Herbal works better overall since their wipes aren't constantly dried out.EWG rating: Jackson and Reece and The Honest Company wipes both have a great EWG rating (you can check on their website if you are interested). This company is not included on the EWG rating database, so I don't know how they compare on there. However, after reading through the ingredient list I believe these would rate very similarly to the other two wipes. They do contain some ingredients (essential oils) that might irritate some people if they are allergic or extra sensitive. We have not had any issues with this.Price: The Honest Wipes are a better price on their website and in the diaper bundle. The diaper bundle seemed to last me forever (maybe because I couldn't wait to be out of these wipes so I could use the Clearly Herbal ones instead). Anyway, here is a breakdown of the prices: The Honest Company (on their website) $4.95 for 1 72 count wipe = .07/wipe, or you could get the diaper/wipes bundle for $79.95/month. The bundle probably lasted me 1 1/2 months. Jackson and Reece wipes are 49.95 on amazon for a 10 count of 64 wipes (so 640 wipes) = .08/wipe. Clearly Herbal is $54.97 on amazon for a 12 count with 80 wipes in each (so 960 wipes) = .06/wipe. Clearly herbal is the best choice when it comes to the price of the three as well, which is an added bonus. My baby hardly ever suffers from diaper rashes. If she does they usually only last a day. However, when I was using the Honest Company diapers and wipes, she constantly had rashes. I think this had more to do with the diapers than the wipes. The diapers just aren't very breathable. These wipes have not really affected her diaper rashes one way or the other compared to other brands.Overall, all three wipes smell great and are a safer alternative for your baby. Most parents use wipes daily to wipe off hands, faces, as well as baby bottoms. It is nice to know I am putting something safer on my baby. Any of the above mentioned brands are a good choice. These are just my personal favorite of the three.

Maybe Safe, but NOT FUNCTIONAL!
I spent more than twice the amount I normally spend on wipes because my daughters behinds are very sensitive and I wanted to find them an alternative option (other than warm washcloths) but was extremely disappointed with these Clearly Herbal wipes. While the fragrance is light and easy on the nose, the wipes do NOT wipe the poop off! I end up using twice as many wipes as normal and having to literally scrub my babies behinds to get the poop off (one breastfed, the other regular food). As a result, these wipes end up being a worse option for them because of the amount of friction I have to produce to get their butts clean- and even when I go through 7 wipes, there are still small specks of poop on their skin. Terrible and will never order again!

It's true they are the best baby wipes!
Our baby is 2 months now and we have had little to almost no issues with rashes at all, we feel because of these wipes. In an effort to go with the most natural ways possible for our first child (we just couldn't go the cloth way) we bought every brand of wipe out there and so have become wipe experts and can compare them like fine wine haha. The pampers sensitive wipes are the cheapest and easiest to find but still very harsh, better for grown up clean up. The huggies natural care wipes are super soft thick and fluffy and can be found at a certain "cost co big box store" but just aren't strong enough, cleaning wise, to clean the poop off thoroughly (don't be grossed out that is why parents are using them). I think that is why I've heard some parents experienced rash issues that have used huggies natural care. That is also the problem with the seventh generation wipes, besides being pricey and not as readily available they are not as soft and thick as the huggies and just don't get the job done. That said I do use seventh generation diapers saving money buying on amazon. These clearly herbal wipes are are the real deal! They are soft and strong enough to clean whatever mess you find in the diaper but not harsh at all. They also have the best packaging for ease of use for home or diaper bag. Each pack comes in soft packaging, like most wipes, but have a hard snap lid. The pack can easily be used one handed so no need to waste money on wipe cases. You get your moneys worth for these wipes. The only drawback is to remember to re-order before you run out. We have only used these wipes on our baby and have had almost NO rashes. If she does have a small amount of redness these wipes are gentle enough and don't cause crying for our little one. We are still on our first little tube of burts bees diaper cream and its almost full. Although these are not found at every big box store I don't care if it means they don't compromise the product to gain access to the brick and mortars. We will continue to order these as long as there is diapers to change. One tip: we do use the huggies natural care for spit ups and face because they are more accessible and save the precious clearly herbal wipes exclusively for diaper clean up. Hope this review helps. Happy wiping and happy baby!
