My father is blind. This gadget lets him know what time of day it is, as well as the day and date.

Bought this for my elderly father who suffers from glaucoma and macular degeneration. He can't read all of the details on the multi-function clocks for elderly and those with mild dementia so this easy to use gizmo is just the thing! It is large enough to easily locate and although he can't really see the color, i did get the yellow one to hopefully make it stand out. The main drawback is that the voice sounds awkwardly automated and takes a bit to understand. You also have to push the button twice, once for time, then again for day/date. I sometimes have to remind dad to push the button again to get all of the info. If you wait too long it will just repeat the first information.

My 90 year old mom keeps this right by her vitamins/meds so she can know exactly what day it is before she takes them

My hard of hearing parents had to hold the clock to their ears and strain to hear the voice. Not worth it. The sound was scratchy and had and accented English.

My previous review complained about the volume after replacing batteries. I have since discovered the button to raise the volume on the bottom. My Mom is 95 and sight impaired...she uses this to know the date and time. Works great

At first, it was great. Easy to set up and the size was perfect but after a month it stopped working for no reason. Unfortunate. I found a different replace that has lasted much longer.

Works great wish it lit up also to make it easy to locate!! All great otherwise would highly recommend!!!

何が「視覚障害者や高齢者に最適です」だ。英会話が出来る方でも聞き取りにくい英語です。粗悪品。

大きくてわかりやすい、そして押しやすいので購入してみました。でもびっくりしたのは、音声が英語であること‥もしかして、どこかのスイッチで日本語にできるのかといろいろ試してみましたが、ダメでした。国際的な高齢者や障害のある方用ですかね？

高齢の目の不自由な夫が期待していましたが、聞き取れず、ガッカリしていました。
