Cute, but some of the words are too big for young children to understand
This is a cute illustrated book aimed at teaching young children about the importance of proper hygiene, hand-washing, brushing the teeth properly, etc. I like this book overall, but I feel like some parts of it might be a little above the heads of very young kids—they probably won’t understand words like “purification” or “relentless”, so it’s definitely something meant to be read and explained by a parent, versus read solo by the child. I also don’t really think kids will latch onto the concepts of sinusitis or food poisoning as a result of germs, so maybe those concepts will need to be explained too.I do think the rhyme and the “Germifier” are cute. I think this would work well as an educational book to explain to young children (perhaps five to eight years old) why handwashing and hygiene are so important. Kids will probably love the “superhero” theme and it would be a good way to get the discussion rolling, especially with cold and flu season coming up fast.

Great Educational Tool
A lot of valuable lessons about personal hygiene for children are shared in this book. I found it to be a great educational tool for my children. The language is a little mature for the intended age group so this book should be read together with and explained by a parent or a teacher.

Better Than a Fairy Tale
Fairy tales are good but this book is great! I wanted a book for my son that was not only fun but educational as well. This book did just that! My son loves to rhyme and so he enjoyed every bit of the story about Jeremy the Germifier. And the bonus was that he learned a thing or two about germs! Great!

Don't waste your money on this pamphlet!
Sorry but I've just received this book and it looks like someone has printed it on their home computer! £5.91 for such a loads of rubbish, I'm sending it straight back!! I wanted something with pictures and easy words to help my son understand the importance of washing his hand. I could have written it myself and printed it out and stapled it together. It is also american so not very good for British kids.
