this band should be more famous than they are. if you like math rock this the band for you. you have to buy their albums, their vinyls sound amazing.

Tricot is a great alternative band! This album is energetic, vivid, and emotional (in a fun way!)

Tremendous, sensational musicianship.

New favorite band... hard to find CDs in the States

This three girl, one boy band from Japan are simply the best damn thing I've heard in 2013. I suppose one could say they're punk-pop influenced mathrock. Mathrock that is as intelligent, and interesting as it is beautiful. The jazzy chords, the whip-tight drumming and intricate picking are amazing in of themselves but combined with the singers incredibly strong voice, her emotively powerful melodies and the great songwriting and Tricot's The becomes something else entirely. I have no idea what they're singing about as it's all in Japanese and I don't care. This affects me as pure music and it affects me powerfully. This is music that is transcendent, sublime and above all ROCKING!
